Nikki Garcia is still unsure as to whether or not her husband, Artem Chigvintsev, will participate in season 32 of Dancing With the Stars; nevertheless, she has already set her sights on a competitor who she thinks he will be paired with: Ariana Madix!
Garcia made this revelation while chatting with ET’s Nischelle Turner backstage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood at the 2023 ESPY Awards. Garcia continued by saying that she finds the Vanderpump Rules actress intriguing since she “has a good story to tell.”
The former WWE wrestler who was once known as Nikki Bella began by stating that there has been no official news yet about Chigvintsev’s return to Dancing With the Stars for season 32, but that she is optimistic that it will occur. Chigvintsev debuted on the show during season 19 in 2014.
Garcia tells ET that “they don’t tell him until kind of like, I think it’s like August.” “You know, they don’t tell him until kind of like, I think it’s like August.” “This season is going to be absolutely great… and about this time, when it comes to July, I’m going to be like, ‘Oh, he’s going to know in a few weeks. Who exactly is going to be his partner?’ I can hardly wait!”
After hearing Ariana for the first time, I exclaimed, “Artem, oh my god! You and Ariana together would make the world a better place,'” Garcia went on to say. You have access to reality TV. You may be able to get anything useful out of her. You can portray her narrative in such a wonderful way via ballroom dancing or modern dance.'”
Although the hiring of Madix was confirmed the previous week, the rest of the group won’t be unveiled until the September 13 edition of Good Morning America. In the opening segment of the show, Derek Hough advised viewers to “Say goodbye to the drama and hello to the dance floor.” The scandal, which is referred to as the “Scandoval,” was caused after Madix’s long-term lover, Tom Sandoval, cheated on her with their mutual friend and co-star, Raquel Leviss. Naturally, the drama is a reference to this scandal.
However, not everyone was affected by the storm in the Sandoval region. Just ask “Dancing With the Stars” co-host Alfonso Ribeiro, who recently revealed to “Entertainment Tonight” that he was unfamiliar with Madix.
Ribeiro added, “You know, it’s funny because I’m so not involved in television anymore that I have no idea who anyone is anymore.” “You know, it’s funny because I’m so not involved in television anymore,” “I put a lot of effort into my family, especially my children.”
“I literally had to call up Deena Katz, who is our executive producer and [head of] casting, and say, ‘Um, so, who is this? ‘Cause I have no idea,'” he said. “Because I have no idea.” “I simply don’t pay attention, is that what you’re saying? Except if it’s a program that I already watch, you understand. So I was like, ‘Oh, Vanderpump Rules? OK, I see, I understand now. Never seen her, but cool.'”
