Tom Holland is being transparent about how much Zendaya matters to him in this new interview.
The Spider-Man actor, who is 27 years old and spoke recently on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty Podcast, referred to his relationship with Zendaya, who is 26 years old, as “the thing I keep most sacred.”
“I don’t bring it up in conversation. “We both feel very strongly that that is the healthiest way for a couple to move on,” Holland said of his relationship, soon after he detailed his wish to “focus on what makes me happy” outside of his profession in Hollywood. “I try my best to keep it as private as possible; we both feel very strongly that that is the healthiest way to move on as a couple,” Holland added of his relationship.
Holland and Zendaya, who stars in the Netflix series Dune, have been linked together ever since they were both cast in the most recent Spider-Man movies produced by Marvel Studios, beginning with 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. In spite of the fact that they insisted for years that they were nothing more than close friends, in 2021 the two were seen kissing in a moving vehicle, and they soon after made the status of their relationship public on Instagram.
When Holland was a guest on the SmartLess podcast, he recently said that he considers himself “lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life.” Zendaya is Holland’s girlfriend.
On the podcast, he stated the following about Zendaya, who also starred in the critically acclaimed HBO series Euphoria: “It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you,” he added. “It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you.” “You are able to share your experiences and all of that other stuff, and that is worth significantly more than its weight in gold.”
In a video interview with UNILAD that was published in June, Holland recalled how, early on in their relationship, he managed to make a good impression on Zendaya.
“At one point in the very beginning of our relationship, I was fixing my girlfriend’s door. When I arrived there, her door was smashed,” he recounted. “I was hanging out at her place at the time.” “I was like, ‘I’m going to fix that door for you,'” the speaker says. And now it’s official: we’re a couple.”
Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire dated during the time that they filmed the 2000s Spider-Man trilogy, and Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were also romantically entangled during their time filming the two Amazing Spider-Man movies. Holland and Zendaya’s relationship places them in the footsteps of previous Spider-Man series leads.

“I really am a massive fan of making movies, but I really do not like Hollywood,” he remarked. “I really do not like Hollywood.” “I cannot participate in it. The nature of the enterprise gives me chills. I am aware that I am a part of that industry, and while my interactions with it are enjoyable, despite the fact that I am a part of it, I am always seeking for ways to distance myself from it so that I may lead a life that is as close to “normal” as possible.
