Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are happy to announce that they have been married for six years!
On Saturday, the happy couple marked the occasion of their sixth wedding anniversary by sharing heartfelt messages of appreciation with one another that they had posted on their individual Instagram pages.
“I hope you had a wonderful anniversary, my love!” Chmerkovskiy, who is 43 years old, penned the caption beside a picture of him gazing adoringly at Murgatroyd, who is 36 years old, while holding her face in his hands on the day of their wedding.
The professional dancer from Dancing with the Stars said in his Instagram post, “Easily the absolute best decision I’ve ever made, and I would marry you everyday of my life for as long as I shall….you know the rest:).”
Chmerkovskiy went on to say, “I love you incomparably more today than I did on the day of our wedding, and I can’t even begin to fathom how that’s possible because I distinctly remember being filled to the brim with love when you walked towards me.” “Also, as I look through the photographs from our wedding, I can’t help but be speechless at how stunningly beautiful you looked.”
“Thank you for choosing me and making us a house full of kids, pets, plants, and infinite love,” he said, closing his statement with the hashtags #ChmergatroydWedding and #foreverlove. He also tagged the photo with the location of their wedding.
In a post on her Instagram account, Murgatroyd revealed more pictures of herself and Chmerkovskiy from their wedding, including a cute picture of the two of them kissing beneath a rainbow at the end of the day.
A snapshot of Chmerkovskiy kissing Murgatroyd on the cheek as she carried a bouquet of pink flowers was also uploaded on her Instagram account, along with a video showing the couple kissing and hugging during their wedding reception.
“Love of my life @maksimc,” Murgatroyd stated in the tweet he sent out. “Happy Anniversary to my most favorite person…6 years of marriage followed by 10 years of cohabitation. You are without a doubt the greatest friend I have anywhere in the universe, and my love for you is boundless. ❤️.”
Some of the couple’s fellow professionals from Dancing With the Stars congratulated them in the post’s comments section. Sasha Farber was one of those professionals, and she responded on Chmerkovskiy’s post with an emoji depicting two hands clapping.
On Murgatroyd’s post, the couple’s sister-in-law, Jenna Johnson, wrote “Happy Anniversary” in the appropriate format. Chmerkovskiy’s brother Val, who is 37 years old, is married to Johnson, who is 29.
A newborn boy called Rio John was brought into the world by the professional dancers’ family only one month ago. Additionally, the couple has a 6-year-old son named Shai.
