Meghan Trainor is now the mother of two children. The singer and her husband, Daryl Sabara, made the announcement that they had another boy on July 1 through Instagram on Tuesday. This is their second child together. The couple, who became parents in 2018, also have a daughter named Riley, who is 2 years old.
Within the adorable post, the two parents revealed a number of photographs taken of their new child both in and outside of the hospital.
“On July 1st (our 7 year anniversary of our first date), we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world,” Trainor said in his birth announcement. “We couldn’t be happier with our new addition to our family.” “He was a huge baby, weighing in at 8 pounds 7 ounces…and sideways (transverse), but we had an incredible, successful c-section, and I finally had my skin to skin time! We want to express our gratitude to the wonderful physicians and nurses who attended to our needs and took such good care of us.
Trainor made the announcement that she was having a child in January, during a virtual appearance on the Today program. When Hoda Kotb, one of the hosts, opened Meghan Trainor’s book, Dear Future Mama, she saw a picture of a sonogram that revealed the exciting news.
“It even comes with a baby!” Trainor made the announcement just before she stood up to display her rapidly expanding baby bulge.
Regarding how Riley felt about the prospect of taking on the role of an older sibling, Trainor said the following: “We try to say, ‘Baby in mama’s belly,’ but he just points at his belly and says, ‘Baby.'”
After that, during an appearance in April on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Trainor and Sabara divulged the news that the gender of their unborn child will be a boy.
Later, when appearing on The View, the singer said, “I’m in a house full of boys.” “I honestly believed I was going to have twin girls, but it turns out that I’m having a guy instead. I share a home with my two brothers, so you could say that we’re raising our own little brood here.
