The elder stars of Celebrity Family Feud and the younger ensemble of Yellowjackets will compete against one another in a “super competitive” episode of the game show when it makes its return to ABC in July with season 10 of the show. During the first time that the two distinct age groups from the Showtime drama appeared onscreen together in the same program, ET was on set with Christina Ricci, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Melanie Lynskey, and Samantha Hanratty, amongst other cast members.
“[It’s] a really cutthroat environment. “Oh, absolutely,” was the response that Tawny Cypress gave. “When I saw Jasmin first thing this morning, I gave her as much of a hard time as I could to try and ruin her day.” Lauren Ambrose, who also appeared on the show, quipped that the two of them “did, like, a voodoo ceremony.”
Whether it was intended or not, the joke made by the two adult actors makes a reference to the fact that Cypress and Brown’s character, Taissa, is suspected of being engaged in witchcraft on Yellowjackets. The adult version of the character was accused of doing wiccan-like rites in her own basement at the conclusion of season 1.
In addition to Ambrose, Brown, Cypress, Hanratty, Lynskey, and Ricci, the two teams competing on the celebrity edition of the long-running game show hosted by Steve Harvey included Warren Kole on the adult side and Sophie Nélisse, Courtney Eaton, and series co-creator and showrunner Ashley Lyle in the other group. The competition was hosted by Ambrose, Brown, Cypress, Hanratty, Lynskey, and Ricci.

All of them are participating in the tenth season of the game show Celebrity Family Feud, which, according to ABC, features a variety of celebrities, “along with their immediate family members or extended TV families, going head-to-head in a contest to name the most popular responses to survey-type questions posed to 100 people for a chance to win money for a charity of their choice.” All of these contestants are vying for a chance to donate money to a cause of their choosing.
Hanratty, not wanting to be outdone, said that the game “became more competitive” as a result of the fact that it was an opportunity for all of them to gather together on set and compete against one another. “It was like, ‘We’re on two different shows with these two different timelines,’ so it was really like, ‘Our show versus your show,'” she added. “We’re on two different shows with these two different timelines.”
Lyle continued by saying, “This is a very competitive group of people on both sides, so we knew it would get sparky,” while Brown made a joke about Hanratty being the most competitive of them all. “I think we all knew who was gonna [be the most intense]: Aries, Samantha,” the actress joked.
While everything was going on, Eaton found herself in a confrontation with Ambrose, who had joined Yellowjackets in season 2 as the adult version of Van. In the prior timeline, which follows a group of adolescent soccer players attempting to live after crashing in the woods, Liv Hewson also portrays the role. This timeline focuses on the group’s struggle to do so.
“Lauren was just like, ‘I’m going take you down.’ And I’m just like, ‘Good luck,'” Eaton said.
And Lyle did provide a warning to the younger stars before the program began, telling them that he was going to raise the stakes for them. She made light of the situation by joking, “I did say that if our team lost I would kill off all of their characters.”
Eaton admitted that “Yeah, so that was the high stakes,” while Brown teased, “So, tune in to find out if we’re in season 3.” Eaton accepted that “Yeah, so that was the high stakes.”
It is surprising that any of the cast members needed to be persuaded to take part in the program given the level of healthy competition that exists among them. However, it turns out that Ricci had to be convinced to join her co-stars here in order for her to do so. “That’d be me!” she exclaimed, adding, “because I’m an embarrassing person, and it’s a lot of risk for me to put myself on live television.” “That’d be me!” she said once again.
However, she, along with the rest of the cast of Yellowjackets, got really into it. Ricci said, “I enjoy raising my voice.” “Yeah, you could say that we’re pretty excited.”
In light of the fact that she had such a good time, Ricci gave the impression that she would participate in another round of competition on another game show. “Floor Is Lava,” she said, divulging the fact that she has some familiarity with the series that is available on Netflix. It’s a game program for children that I used to play together with my son while we were at home.
