Michelle Williams claims that she had no clue why Destiny’s Child released their last album in 2004, titled “Destiny Fulfilled.” And if she had it her way, the members of Destiny’s Child would still be performing together.

During an appearance on The Terrell Show, the singer, who is 43 years old, said that it had always been the intention for the trio, which also includes Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, to release individual projects followed by a collective project, and so on. Williams spoke up on how she has been feeling since the group disbanded in 2006 when the presenter, Terrell Rice, questioned her about whether or not she knew that Destiny Fulfilled was going to be the group’s last album.

“I didn’t want it to turn out that way. She said, “I don’t know if we wanted it to be the last album.” “But alas, such is the state of affairs. If it were up to me, though, we would continue to switch our positions back and forth. We’d still be a group, then a solo, then a group, then a solo.

In addition, she said, “I don’t know [why it was the last album]. I guarantee you I don’t. I guarantee you I don’t. I am fairly certain that, in the event that both you and I desire to do one, I am aware that the door is open for us to do that.”

Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé’s father and the group’s manager, said in an interview with ET in May that the choice to reform is exclusively with the members of the group.

Knowles said in an interview with ET that “it’s a decision that the ladies would have to make.” “As I am still in charge of Destiny’s Child’s management, I would absolutely and unequivocally endorse that choice. I think it would be amazing to see as well.

Since the ladies in the group called it quits in 2006, the seasoned music entrepreneur is aware of the effect that a reunion would have on the fans, who have been hoping for it ever since the women left the group.

He replies, “I think the fans will be just overjoyed, overwhelmed,” and I agree with him. “And here’s hoping that they pull it off for the very last time in their careers. I really hope they still give us one more album. Who could say? You can never tell. You never assert that the possibility is nonexistent. because we are being entertained by this. There is a wide range of possibilities.

The statements that Knowles made occurred roughly a year and a few months after Rowland had mentioned the possibility of a reunion to ET.

“We love everybody so much that we wouldn’t play with it, but I do think that… you would deserve a surprise,” she remarked at the time. “We wouldn’t toy with it.” “I get the impression that everything is simply so planned out, so that we can see it before it occurs and we can watch the process immediately after it happened. It’s just a lot, like, we demand spontaneity, we wish to be surprised, and I would expect that Destiny’s Child would be a good surprise. It’s just a lot.
