Larry Myers Jr., who was a celebrity on TLC, has away. At the time of his loss, Larry, who was known by the moniker “Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits” and featured in an episode of My 600-Pound Life in January 2022, was 49 years old.
Early in the month, Todd Darell, who is Larry’s cousin, posted the news on Facebook with the following message: “Hey, Facebook Family. We share our deepest condolences with you as we share the news of the demise of my beloved cousin Larry Myers. He is better known to many of you by the moniker Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits. If you are able to assist us in any way, we would be very grateful. Larry has been a trooper throughout this ordeal. He has triumphed over some of the most difficult obstacles he has ever been had to contend with. Be at peace, Junior; you will be remembered fondly. Many thanks, and many blessings, to everyone. We ask that you continue to pray for our whole family.

Additionally, his family has established a GoFundMe page in order to assist with the financial burden of funeral and burial expenses.
Page Six reports that Larry had a heart attack three days after his 49th birthday, which led to his loss.
After a remix of him joyfully proclaiming “buttermilk biscuits!” on the program went viral, Larry was given the moniker “Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits,” which he still uses to this day.
During the month of March 2022, Larry came in to the Rickey Smiley Morning Show and discussed the challenges he was facing. He said that at one point in his life he had a weight of 940 pounds. After “losing weight,” he “got depressed” and proceeded to put on 200 more pounds after the episode was filmed.
After revealing that he had surgery to remove 100 of those pounds, he went on to say, “Larry intends on getting married.”
At the time of his passing, the gospel singer called the state of Texas his home.
