A lot may change in the course of ten years.

It may be difficult to imagine, but it has been almost a decade since the cast of The Hills has been on our television screens on a weekly basis. The series finale of the MTV sensation aired in 2010, marking the end of the show’s run. The majority of the original cast members, with the exception of Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari, are scheduled to appear in the next episode of The Hills titled “New Beginning,” which will make its debut on June 24. Who says you can’t go home again? (Unfortunately, you won’t be able to visit Les Deux since it went out of business. RIP!)

However, viewers of The Hills shouldn’t have any expectations of seeing the show as it was in the past since life has moved on quite a bit for Spencer and Heidi Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, and the other cast members since they left the show in that famous fourth-wall breaching finale.

To begin, a significant number of the cast members have started families, giving up dirty martinis in favor of filthy diapers while simultaneously establishing successful lifestyle companies. In addition, another previous star has gone on to become a major player in the nightlife industry (Hi, Frankie Delgado! ), while Stephanie Pratt has become a household name and found a lover from Bachelor Nation.

However, the cast has also been through their fair share of difficulties, such as painful divorce fights, openly dealing with their sobriety, and losing all of their money one $65,000 crystal at a time. Despite this, it wasn’t all babies and Bachelor beaus; in fact, it wasn’t even all babies and Bachelor beaus.

Mischa Barton and Brandon Thomas Lee, the two new stars of The Hills: New Beginning, have both undergone a significant amount of personal development in the years that have passed since the previous show’s conclusion…

Lauren

You’ll always be remembered as the girl who left before the revival episode aired.

In spite of the fact that Lauren was the star of Laguna Beach that producers decided to focus on for their own spinoff, she will not be returning to The Hills. Since she left the program in the middle of the fifth season, she has been enjoying her time away from reality television.

According to an interview she gave to Cosmopolitan in 2015, “I really struggled with leaving because I wasn’t happy doing it anymore.”

A source told E! News at the time that the reboot was announced, “Lauren is concentrating right now on her Kohl’s line and her charity work, which she is very passionate about…she is the head designer of her Kohl’s line and has worked with them for 10 years, causing her to fly cross-country several times a month for the work.”

Since leaving The Hills (despite a brief return for the unaired alternate series ending), Lauren has started a fashion and lifestyle empire, including a hit clothing and home line for Kohl’s, written nine books that have been best sellers, and co-founded The Little Market, which is a fair trade online store that has recently opened its first brick and mortar location. And Lauren’s debut podcast, titled “Asking for a Friend,” was released in May of this year.

The 33-year-old star told Redbook, “I like to focus on the prettier parts of life, but that doesn’t necessarily represent all of it…you’re not going to enjoy the pretty things if you’ve been up all night doing them.” This is despite the fact that many of her 6.1 million ardent followers believe that her life is picture-perfect. Your life is not meant to be a pin board on Pinterest.

After having MTV chronicle her romantic life for many years, Lauren finally discovered the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with when she started dating William Tell, the former guitarist for Something Corporate, in 2012. Lauren and William, who is now a lawyer, tied the knot on September 13, 2014, and in July of 2017, they became parents to their first child, a son named Liam James Tell.

Lauren made the announcement that she was expecting her second child on Instagram in April of 2019. She captioned a picture of herself cradling her growing baby belly with the following text: “It’s been hard to keep this one to myself! I am overjoyed to announce that our family will be growing by one member throughout the course of this year!

Spencer and Heidi said that the cancellation of The Hills “was our September 11th.”

Both Heidi, Lauren’s best friend turned arch-nemesis (“You know what you did!”), and Spencer, one of reality TV’s most notorious villains, have publicly acknowledged to having difficulties following the show’s conclusion.

“I had been separated from my family. I just went in for all of these treatments. Heidi, 32, revealed on Good Morning America that she felt forced to play a part on The Hills. She made this statement in reference to her famed and almost d.e.a.d.l.y cosmetic surgery marathon (10 surgeries in a single day) and her mother’s stunning response to it.

She elucidated the situation by saying that there was “kind of this back and forth like, ‘Oh, we have to play the characters.'” “We were in the show, and then we kind of turned into those characters; this was a very difficult time for us,”

And Spencer, who is now 35 years old, revealed to Vice in 2017 that she “got caught up trying to be someone that I’m not — someone that the audience and the producers wanted.” I just became more and more artificial as time went on.

Despite this, Speidi has defied expectations, as shown by the fact that they just celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary shortly after the birth of their first child, Gunner Stone Pratt, in October 2017. During the time when Heidi was giving birth, the delivery area was decked with crystals costing a total of $27,000, and a beauty artist was there to apply concealer in between contractions. According to her recollection for Us Weekly, “I was like, ‘Just get it on as fast as you can,'”

“Having a family is something I’ve always desired. Since I’ve been with Spencer for the last 11 years, I recently informed him, “You had me all by myself for the previous 10 years.” Heidi commented on the decision that the couple will have a child. “We have a wonderful marriage, and the timing couldn’t have been better for us to embark on this next chapter,” she said.

After spending all of the millions of dollars they made during the show’s prime on healing crystals (he once spent $65,000 on a single crystal) and Heidi’s attempt at a music career, the couple rebounded with appearances on reality shows, including heading to Celebrity Big Brother, and became two of the biggest reality stars in the United Kingdom as a result of their success. They are currently known as Make Speidi Famous Again, which is a popular podcast that they broadcast together, and at the 2018 Shorty Awards, Spencer was honored as Snapchatter of the Year. (And, you guessed it, he’s still in the crystal business.)

In spite of the ups and downs and the drama that the program generated, the pair was more than ready for the rebirth. Heidi reportedly told E! News, ” “Spencer’s been trying to get The Hills relaunch since it ended!”

Audrina

Audrina, who was cast by producers when they found that she resided in the apartment complex Lauren and Heidi were moving into, won her own reality series on VH1, fittingly dubbed Audrina, after MTV first turned down a spinoff called The Audrina Show.

The program was canceled after just one season, during which it included members of Audrina’s family. The reality star told The Daily that she “kind of decided I wanted to take some time off from reality.” I would want to do something more along the lines of hosting or acting.” After then, she became the host of NBC’s 1st Look from 2014 till 2015.

Audrina, who is now 34 years old and has been dating Corey Bohan, a professional BMX rider, on and off since 2008, finally tied the knot with him in November 2016, which was five months after the reality star had given birth to the couple’s daughter, Kirra. But just ten months after that, Audrina filed for divorce and received a temporary restraining order against Corey. In the court paperwork, she said that he had “become increasingly possessive, angry, agitated, and jealous” of her job and travel schedule. Audrina also stated that he had “become increasingly possessive, angry, and agitated” of her.

Before completing their divorce in December 2018, the exes’ legal battle was marked by a number of ups and downs, including Corey’s petition of a court order to restrict the couple’s daughter from appearing on The Hills. The divorce was finalized in December 2018.

After her breakup with Corey, Audrina began seeing Ryan Cabrera, a singer she had dated briefly during the last season of The Hills. During this time, they were both starring on the show. After a period of five months together, the couple decided to end their relationship. Audrina provided the following explanation for the breakup: “He is currently on tour, and I am focusing on my daughter.” We have decided to remain friends despite the fact that we are not involved in a romantic relationship at this time, and we are in constant communication.

E! News discovered in February that she was dating Matt Chase, who owns a pub in the Los Angeles area. (We apologize to the people who were expecting for a love reunion between Audrina and Justin “Bobby”!)

Robert “Justin” “Bobby”
The homeboy, the myth, the legend…really did not want to go on camera, and it took a long time before he eventually consented to appear as Audrina’s love interest, receiving the famed Justin “Bobby” moniker from Lo. Lo was the one who gave the nickname to Justin.

Before Justin established himself as a regular cast member on the program, he was really employed by Maroon 5 as a hairdresser. But he also had his own personal dreams of being a rock star, and he formed a one-man band called Bobbyrocks.

“Eons before The Hills, I was already doing the punk rock thing and I was already traveling. It happened before the concert,” he said in an interview with E! News in 2017. “The music has always been there, and [the show has] helped,” one of the cast members said.

JB has hinted to us that he may be ready to settle down now that he is 37 years old, particularly after witnessing all of his co-stars have families.

“I am always thinking about it in the back of my brain. I do give it some serious thought. I was born in Italy, and I’ve always put my family first. I really like being in a group. I adore each and every facet of it. I like having a special someone in my life. He was the first to recognize that being in a committed relationship was the best environment for personal development. “I’m growing older…I would want to have a daughter, as well as another child. I want a woman who can tolerate my sometimes punk-ass ways, and I want her to be able to do that.
