Kathie Lee Gifford is expecting her second child, and this time she’ll be a Bubbeh! Cody, who is 33 years old and married to Erika, who is also 33, are expecting their second child. Cody was a co-host on the Today program in the past.
On Friday, Erika came to Instagram and released a video in which she announces that she and Cody’s son, Frank, will soon be a big brother. The video was set to a version of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and Erika made the announcement in the caption of the post.
Erika started off her social media post by saying, “Celebrating 1 year of #FRankieFriday’s in a BIG (brother) way.” “I cannot express how grateful I am for all of the love and prayers that have been sent. It has been really significant. This coming winter will see the birth of Baby Gifford number two. Gifford, the party of four!!! “2 under 2”
She went on to say, “Please begin sending me names that start with the rest of the days of the week,” which was followed by a period.

Gifford was the one who broke the news to everyone in December 2021 that Cody and Erika were going to become parents for the first time together. At the time, Gifford shared an adorable video of the news on her Instagram account with the message, “I am over a blue or pink moon!!!”
After seven years together as a couple, Cody and Erika finally tied the wedding in September of 2020. Cassidy, who was 29 at the time of their June 2020 wedding, Gifford’s daughter, married Ben Wierda. Gifford went by Today With Hoda & Jenna two years later to talk about her new role as a grandmother and her reaction to the fact that her grandson was named Frank in memory of her late husband, who had passed away in 2015. Frank Gifford had passed away in 2015.
“I was surprised Cody named him after his dad because Cody knew what it was like to grow up in the shadow of a great man,” she added. “I was surprised because Cody knew what it was like to grow up in the shadow of a great man.” “But I guess he has never really gotten over, and he never will, the loss of his dad at an early age and the fact that he was his hero and he still is,” you say. “And I guess he never will.”
Gifford gave an interview to ET in April 2022, during which she discussed what it’s like to become a grandma later in life.
“You know what, strangely enough, I’m not thrilled for myself. “I couldn’t be happier for my son and his wife, and I couldn’t be happier for my daughter, who is going to become an aunt,” Gifford added. “Right now, I’m just kind of observing everything. The day the infant is placed in my arms is the day on which I will feel a surge of excitement. They don’t know and they don’t want to know because they’re doing it the old-fashioned way. I have no idea whether or not it will be a boy or a girl.
Gifford had previously shared with ET that she wished her future grandchild would refer to her as Glamma, which is a name that her daughter-in-law had used in the comments area of the video that Gifford had made to announce the news of her pregnancy. Well, it seems like Gifford has moved on to an other word of endearment.
“I have a good friend whose mother is from Israel, and she speaks Yiddish, so I asked her one day, ‘What’s the name for a Jewish grandmother in Yiddish?'” “I have a dear friend whose mother is from Israel, and she speaks Yiddish.” She then explains that the name originates from the Hebrew term bubbeh, which translates to “my darling.” Given that it is a word of love, she referred to me as Bubbeh.
