It seems like Serena Williams is having a great time in Italy!
The world was given its first look at the new little one on Monday, when a former tennis champion posted a photo of her second child on Instagram.
“BE WARNED: Circumstances may not always present themselves in the same manner. “I am Seriously trying to figure out if the baby is in the front or….back…. slide right #summer #italy #vacation,” the soon-to-be mother of three, who is 41 years old, playfully posted on her Instagram account during her vacation in Italy.
Williams creates the appearance that she does not have a baby bulge in the first image by wearing a small black dress, which gives the impression that she does not have a baby bump. The pregnant woman, who used to compete in tennis, stands off to the side in the second slide, exposing her growing bulge.
Williams, who went to see Beyoncé perform on Friday as part of her Renaissance World Tour, has been open about her changing figure ever since she revealed that she is expecting earlier this month.
The previous week, Williams tweeted a number of mirror selfies along with a thoughtful message on the importance of having confidence in oneself.
“It is not always simple to maintain your self-assurance. Not even for me! Particularly when it comes to snapping pictures and being pregnant! Remember who you are and never be afraid to let your light shine; even if those closest to you attempt to steal your happiness, you should never be frightened to be the best version of yourself. The winner of the Grand Slam tweeted using the hashtag “wordsofwisdom.”
While walking down the red carpet at the 2023 Met Gala, Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, announced that they were expecting their second child together.
Williams captioned the snapshot of her showing off her baby belly in a black Gucci gown while standing next to the Reddit founder with the following: “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.”
Olympia, age 5, is their daughter, and when she found out she was going to have a brother or sister, her parents said she had the cutest response ever.
The week before last, Williams posted a video of the moment she and Ohanian broke the news to their daughter that she was going to be promoted to the role of big sister.
“Remember how you’ve been praying for a younger sibling, whether it be a small brother or sister? We decided to go to the doctor, and the examination revealed that I am not putting on weight. Williams responded by saying, “But I have a baby in my belly,” to which Olympia immediately asked in an eager manner. “Are you kidding me?!”
Before the video was made public, Williams discussed the reasons why she and her husband had decided to keep their news from their daughter.
Williams described the situation in a video that she posted on Instagram. “Olympia does not know right now that I am pregnant, so the big reveal will be at the Met and then before we leave, I’ll tell Olympia,” Williams said. “The only reason I haven’t told her yet is because she can’t keep a secret!”
