Baby Cat, a talkative neighborhood cat, had a routine of visiting Robin Williams and her partner every day, and she would often use her voice to let them know that she was there. One morning, Robin Williams and her partner heard high-pitched meows coming from their porch, but they weren’t exactly astonished by them. Baby Cat was a vocal neighborhood cat.
According to what Williams shared with The Dodo, “Baby Cat has been coming to our house for the past year and has always been very loud.” “She would come up to the door, and she would meow very loudly in an attempt to get our attention.”
However, there was a notable difference in the way the cat meowed this time around.

The pair was used to hearing meows about their home; in addition to the strays that frequented their home in search of love and food, Williams and her boyfriend also had a cat of their own. However, it only took a few moments for them to realize that Baby Cat was unlike any other child when they saw her for the first time.
Williams said that “she trusted us from the very first day that we met her.” “This senior gray cat and Baby Cat were inseparable companions. Baby Cat would stroll straight up to the door and grab food from us, however the elder cat was too timid to approach and eat food from the porch.
Since that day forward, Baby Cat has made it a habit to drop by Williams’ house on a daily basis. The couple’s interaction with the stray cat quickly progressed from that of strangers to that of close friends in a short amount of time.

“She was always willing to get close to us, and as time went on, she got more and more trusting,” Williams said. “She was always willing to get close to us.” “First, she would come over for food, then she would let us give her pets, and then she would come inside the house to eat food. This went on for quite some time.” After that, it came to the point where she would spend a lot of time, sometimes even overnight, in our basement.
After sticking to their schedule for a few months, Williams saw that Baby Cat, who had previously had a petite and thin build, was beginning to bulk out. The couple immediately realized that the cat was pregnant, and they held out hope that she would feel comfortable enough with them to give birth in the neighborhood of their home.
“We even thought that, because she spent so much time at our house, she would end up having the kittens in our basement,” Williams added. “We thought this because she spent so much time at our house.”

However, just as Baby Cat would show up at their doorway every morning, she would always depart again at night. This continued until one day, when Baby Cat went to Williams’ home for breakfast. While Williams was in the kitchen preparing her meal, she couldn’t shake the notion that there was something off about the cat.
According to Williams, “Her meows were different that morning — they were deeper and went on for longer than her normal meow.” “At first, we just assumed that she was really hungry; however, when we got to the window, we found out otherwise.”
Williams and her boyfriend were able to observe via the glass that Baby Cat seemed to have lost a significant amount of weight recently. They refocused their attention to get her food, but when they opened the door a few seconds later, Baby Cat was nowhere to be seen.
“When we put the food down, we saw her coming onto the porch with a kitten in her mouth,” Williams said. “Then, when we put the food down.” “After she had given the first child to someone else, she dashed off the porch and ran to the house that is two houses down, which is a vacant house.”
While Williams’ partner followed Baby Cat to the abandoned home in the hopes of discovering all of her kittens, Robins took care to lay the first baby in a warm and comfortable bed. Baby Cat brought each of her newborn kittens over to Williams one by one.
Williams said, “We found four of them.” The sequence in which we first saw them inspired us to give them the names Eeny, Meeny, Miny, and Moe.
Baby Cat stepped inside Williams’ home as soon as she was sure that all of her offspring were secure inside, and she immediately began caring for the kittens.
Williams said that Baby Cat immediately began to feed them and clean them once she found them. “She does a wonderful job as a mother.”
Williams established a safe haven for Baby Cat and her litter of kittens in the basement of her home so that she would have the seclusion necessary to care for them. Within a short period of time, the friendly stray cat transformed into a caring and knowledgeable mother. This transformation took place in only a few weeks.
“She is still very vocal, so there are many times when we just hear her talking to the kittens and the kittens talking back to her,” Williams said. “She is still very talkative.” “Particularly vocal” when the kittens are engaging in behavior that she finds objectionable, such as attempting to climb out of the box or leaping on each other.
As the kittens grew older, their personalities continued to develop in a more distinct manner.
Williams said that the kittens were wonderful. “We have one that is shy and timid, one that has the heaviest little stomach and is the first to try to climb out of their enclosure, and the other two are a mixture of timid and rambunctious,” the researcher said.
The kittens have now reached the age when they will be able to move to their permanent homes within the next several weeks. Williams had hoped that she would be able to keep Baby Cat, but sadly, the hostility between her own cat and the stray has only worsened since they first met. Baby Cat is now considered a stray. Consequently, she is presently looking for the ideal family to adopt Baby Cat after her other kittens have been placed with new homes.
Up until that point, Williams and her partner will keep pouring love and attention into the little, fluffy family. They had no idea that allowing a talkative stray cat into their home would result in them being responsible for the upbringing of a litter of cute kittens, but they wouldn’t have it any other way.
@thisisrobinw This happened almost 4 weeks ago but, the stray cat that we feed who we call “baby cat” brought her babies to us. They are not living in the basement. #catsoftiktok #cats #straycatsoftiktok #straycat #kittensoftiktok #kittens ♬ original sound – Robbie Williams
