On her first Mother’s Day without her late husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, Allison Holker Boss is comforted by the affection of her children.

The festival was observed by the mother of three, who is 35 years old, together with her children Maddox, 7, Zaia, who is 3, and Weslie, who is 14.

“Being a mother has been the most wonderful blessing of my life.” I could not be more appreciative of having the opportunity to greet each new day with their radiant smiles. Getting to see their development and tenacity, as well as participate in their smiles and laughter, provides the motivation I need to face each and every day. I will use everything I have to keep an eye on my children. We are going through something that I could not have even anticipated, yet collectively, we are moving ahead each and every day. I adore you, my children, and I am grateful that you have never stopped being a source of inspiration, love, and pleasure for me. I will always and forever adore you, Weslie, Maddox, and ZAIA. She captioned a snapshot of the family with the phrase “HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!”

The dancer and TV personality opened up to PEOPLE in her first interview after her partner, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, took his own life at the age of 40. The conversation took place in the house they lived in the Los Angeles region and was her first since his loss. She spoke about how she is trying to keep her children near while they find a path ahead.

“Even though my children and I have always been such a strong unit, the bond that we share now is quite different from what it was in the past.” “It’s been amazing to see that my kids are also there for me now,” said Holker. “Although I always want to make sure that they see me as really strong for them, it’s been amazing to see that my kids are also there for them.”

“They have shown me that they are willing to feel and connect with me, and for that I am extremely proud of them. They’re not afraid to quiz me on anything, and we do our best to figure things out together,” she goes on to say. “Sometimes it breaks my heart that they have to feel that pressure to take care of me, but that’s a true testament to Stephen, because that’s what he would have done,” she said. “That’s a true testament to Stephen, because that’s what he would have done.”

“Right now, it is of the utmost importance that my children be taken care of. I want them to understand that it is possible to be an individual while yet being yourself. “The only way for our family to be happy is for each of us to discover what makes us happy and for us to share that with one another,” she added.

They continue to engage in deep discourse with their father as a group. “The reason why the stars are so important to me is because we believe that’s where he is,” she explained. “So we go out there, and we talk to him,” the speaker says. I assured them that he would be there for them at any time, should they have any questions or concerns. He is both a leader and a shield for us. We are certain that he is still here with us.”

Additionally, Allison sees the positive aspects of Stephen in both of their children. “Weslie is his wisdom, Maddox is his joy, and Zaia, our youngest, is his intuition,” she said. “Our oldest, Maddox, is his joy.” “Every single one of them exudes one of a kind, really one-of-a-kind energy. They embrace the challenge, and as a result, they are a daily source of motivation for me.
