Mother’s Day is being celebrated by Rebel Wilson, who is accompanied by her two most cherished daughters.
In a recent post commemorating her first Mother’s Day as a parent, Wilson shared on Instagram a rare glimpse of her 5-month-old daughter, Royce, with her followers. This was Wilson’s first time enjoying the holiday as a parent.
The first of the three cute images has Wilson and her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, standing with baby Royce, who is wearing a beanie with bunny ears on her head. Ramona is also holding Royce in this shot. The infant is wearing a pink sweater and knit gray leggings, and she is beaming with happiness as she sits on her mother’s lap. In the second picture, Wilson and Royce are seen sitting on what looks to be a boat, and Royce is wearing a dress with pink and white polka dots. In the third picture, which is also from their vacation, the mother and daughter are both dressed to the nines for the beach, and they are lounging on a blanket somewhere near the water.
“Have a wonderful Mother’s Day!” (I just got up at 5:30 in the morning and made a major alteration…how about you?),” Wilson captioned the picture slideshow in a way that was both humorous and insightful.
Pitch Perfect actress Anna Kendrick, who had previously used emojis and GIFs to cover her daughter’s face, has given fans a glance at the baby on social media more than once. The snapshot marks the most of Royce’s face that fans have seen, but it is not the first time that she has done so.
The new mother, who is 43 years old and just gave birth in April, shared the very first image of her son Royce’s face for the very first time in April, in a drone video of herself cradling the infant while on vacation in the Caribbean.
In the brief video clip, the mother and daughter team can be seen looking up towards the camera just before the scene pans out to show the beach that is spread out in both directions beyond them.
Wilson made the announcement that Royce had arrived through surrogate in November, several months after she had disclosed her connection with Agruma, who was her partner at the time. Later, in February of 2023, the pair got engaged while visiting Disneyland, although most of their family has been kept in the dark about it.
Wilson said in February that she and Agruma’s first surrogate had experienced a miscarriage. Wilson was speaking at the time about her journey leading up to the birth of Royce the previous year.
“I tried to have the baby using one surrogate, but the embryo passed, which is really, like, you get so excited when it takes. Luckily, I didn’t make it public because that would have been even worse because then you’d have to admit that it didn’t work out. ” On the podcast Life Uncut, Wilson described the experience as “extremely upsetting.” “At the time, I was in deep grieving about that. But then to have a second embryo, which was just one of two that I had, and to have it implanted while everything else went well. It was great. I honestly believe that it is some kind of miraculous occurrence.”
