Yer a dad, Harry! Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime partner, Erin Darke, have become parents.
On Monday, a representative for Radcliffe told numerous media outlets the news. DailyMail revealed photographs of the 33-year-old Harry Potter actor using a pram through Manhattan on April 25th, prompting the confirmation. Darke stands nearby in pants, a black shirt, and a green coat, while he sports a T-shirt, cap, and face mask.
ET was the first to learn in March that the longtime couple was expecting their first child together.
Since their chance meeting on the set of How to Kill Your Darlings in 2013, the pair have kept their romance and personal lives mostly under wraps. A little over a year ago, at the New York City premiere of Radcliffe’s film The Lost City, the pair made a rare public appearance together. Before then, the last time they walked the red carpet was at the 2014 Tony Awards.
Radcliffe isn’t the first member of the Potter cast to start a family. In real life, Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) is the proud father of a 2-year-old daughter named Wednesday with his girlfriend Georgia Groome.
