This is a very odd, audacious, and risky story of a guy who made his special day memorable by doing something that he had never done before.

At the helm of the pumpkin is Duane Hansen.

The individual from Nebraska made the choice on August 27 to go rafting down the Missouri River. He used a giant pumpkin boat that he had manufactured just for the event.
Due to the fact that he had drawn a giant 846-pond pumpkin some 41 miles down the river, his story went viral very fast.

Since the guy had such a deep and abiding affection for his boat, he named it “SS Bertha.”

On the occasion of his 60th birthday, he embarked on an exciting and eventful journey: he established a world record by traveling the furthest distance in the globe.

After establishing a new benchmark with his trusty and committed friend, he rose to prominence as a result of the SS Bertha’s assistance.
The individual known as Hansen was successful in breaking the previous record of 25 miles by rafting for more than 12 hours in his very own pumpkin boat that he had built himself at home.

beyond paddling for around 18 miles, Hansen confessed that the first five miles were very simple for him, but beyond that distance, the crew realized that they would be on the road for a very long time.

In addition, he said that the journey was risky since he had to remain on the pumpkin while attempting to keep it balanced so that it would not topple over in the event that it was hit by a wave or blown over by the wind.

The fact that Hansen had first grown the largest handcrafted pumpkin ever and then broken a record while riding it was a significant accomplishment for him.
