Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are adjusting well to their new life as a married couple.
They disclosed this information in Instagram Story postings that were published on their respective accounts on Saturday. The Olympic gymnast is 26 years old, and the NFL quarterback is 27 years old. They enjoyed drinking together poolside right after their wedding.
A poignant image of Biles and Owens touching their glasses together in honor of their marriage was included in the post that Biles uploaded on her Instagram account. Alongside the picture, she penned the words “Cheers husband.”
Owens, on the other hand, published a picture of Biles in which she was posed in front of a bowl containing a variety of fruits while wearing a black swimsuit and matching sunglasses. The sportsman captioned his photo with the phrase “My two favorite things.”
On Saturday, Biles and Owens announced their upcoming marriage through social media postings, and shortly afterward, they posted some happy photos of themselves.
On her Instagram account, Biles posted a series of intimate photographs of herself and the Houston Texans star with the words “I do — officially Owens.”
Owens released a similar collection of photographs on his own Instagram account, which included more behind-the-scenes glimpses at the pair saying “I do.”
His comment for the photo said, “My person, forever,” and he included two hashtags with the post: “#TheOwens” and “#ItsOfficial.”
After dating for two years before making the announcement, Biles and Owens posted a series of photographs on Instagram to announce their engagement in February of last year.
The happy couple was finally able to be married on the 15th of April, which was also the day they acquired their marriage license.
After they had returned to their vehicle, Biles showed off the document, which had been issued in Montgomery County, Texas, in the state of Texas, in an Instagram post. The pair seemed happy as they posed for the photo.
