Jo Constant and her boyfriend are the proud owners of three dogs, each of which has a distinct personality. Even while their parents are resting, the puppies are eager to join in on whatever activity their parents are engaged in.

“Flippit the Whippet and Bear would only ever sleep under the duvet with us if given the chance,” Constant said in an interview with The Dodo. “Because Bear weighs somewhere around 84 pounds, there are moments when you don’t even recognize Flippit, who is the smaller of the two. The worst thing that might happen is for someone to get on top of the duvet while they are trying to pin it down and pull it off of everyone.

Constant woke up one morning after spending the previous night in a motel sleeping among a pile of dogs. As she went about her routine, she came back to bed and was met with the funniest optical illusion she had ever seen.

When you share your bed with someone who is “half man and half whippet,” stated Constant.

Because of the manner that everyone was resting, it seemed as if her boyfriend had the body of a dog, and she made sure that everyone remained in that position for a sufficient amount of time so that she could take a picture of it.

Constant said that the objects in question were Bear’s legs. “Flippit was also present in that room.”

The dogs remained perfectly still and paid absolutely no attention to everything that was going on around them. They didn’t bat an eye when they climbed into bed with their parents on top of them or splayed out around them like it was nothing out of the ordinary. There was nothing at all unusual about the situation.

Constant and her boyfriend have a great deal of affection for their dogs, despite the fact that they may make the sleeping arrangements a little bit more complicated at times.
