Keanu Reeves and his long-term girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, are showing the world that they are over heels in love on the red carpet.
While walking down the red carpet at the 2023 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala at the Geffen Contemporary in Los Angeles on Saturday, the John Wick 4 actor, who is 58 years old, and Grant, who is 49 years old, paused to kiss for the cameras. Grant, a visual artist whose work has been shown at MoCA in the past, donned a long red flowery dress while Reeves wore a suit with a striped tie. Both of them were attending the event.
When questioned about his “last moment of bliss” one month ago, Reeves highlighted an intimate time with Grant as the experience that sprang to mind.
“A couple of days ago with my honey,” Reeves said in an interview with People magazine. “We were in bed. There was a link between us. We were beaming with happiness and chuckling with delight. Feeling wonderful. It was just quite enjoyable to be with one another.”
Although they just started publicly acknowledging their relationship in 2019, the two had been familiar with one another for a number of years prior to that. In 2011, they worked together for the first time on a “grown-up’s picture book” titled Ode to Happiness. The book included artwork by Grant, and Reeves was responsible for writing the book’s content. After that, they worked together once again on a second art book, which was published in 2016 and named Shadows. In 2019, when the couple’s relationship was made public, Grant said that she got a considerable amount of attention from the general public.
“I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that’s fascinating,” she told British Vogue.
