Hinsel Scott makes it a habit to go trekking in the mountains close to his house in Idaho, and he regularly finds himself in serene settings deep in the heart of the woods on his treks. Early in the month of March, he was out on one of his regular treks when he stumbled across the one thing he was not anticipating seeing amid the rocks, trees, and snow: a cat.

The cat, which was subsequently given the name Jax, could be seen hiding behind some rocks inside of a small cave and seemed to be in a state of great confusion. After keeping a close eye on him for a while, he finally came to a conclusion that was really significant.

Jax came to the conclusion that he would adopt this guy as his new father.

It didn’t take Jax long to start kissing Scott and telling him about his choice. There was no question in anyone’s mind that Scott wasn’t going to get a cat. He was puzzled as to how a cat would coexist with his existing canine at home since he already owned a dog. Yet, he was aware that he could not abandon the poor man in the middle of nowhere as it seemed another else had done. It was difficult for him to comprehend how the cat distribution system worked, but who was he to argue with it?

Jax had been surviving on his own in the forest for who knows how long when he finally found a place to call home. At first, his new father wasn’t sure about having a cat around, but it didn’t take long until the two of them were the best of friends.

After being taken by Scott to the veterinarian, where he was cleaned up and examined, it was discovered that Jax was in remarkably good condition, given that he had been living alone in the forest. Since he did not have a chip when he was scanned for one, it confirmed for him that he would be staying with Scott for the foreseeable future.

Now, after Scott finishes a trek, he returns home to be with his good friend Jax, and he couldn’t be happier with the situation. It never fails to excite Jax to see him, and he regularly dozes off on his chest as a result. He has an incredible amount of faith in his new father, and it is quite evident that both Scott and Jax made the correct decision.
