Angel Janes, a resident of Salt Lake City, was on her way home when she came across a guy who was standing by the side of the road with a sign requesting money or a job. Angel stopped to help the man.
When the woman came over to help the man, he had a small Chihuahua puppy sitting on his lap while he laboriously attempted to wrap it in a blanket…
Angel was kind enough to give the guy some smokes, and then he asked her if she would be able to assist him in finding a good home for his dog.
The person known only as Ron does not have a house. The driver of a car that had pulled over to the shoulder of the road threw this puppy out of the window onto the asphalt.
Ron was afraid that the puppy might be run over by passing automobiles, so he decided to take it into his possession.
Angel recalls, “I was really moved by his wonderful deed,” despite the fact that we did not have a lot of time to talk to each other. He made it clear that he did not want for the dog to have the same amount of homelessness that he had experienced.
Angel published a narrative on her Facebook page about Ron and the Chihuahua, which Kathleen Dallman and all of her other friends were able to see.
She was able to find Ron and the puppy, and she expressed her gratitude to him by giving him fifty dollars for saving the Chihuahua’s life. At first, he refused to accept the money that was offered. He stated that all he wanted was to help her in the best way possible. However, after much persuasion from them, he finally agreed to take the money. Later, he sobbed.
Shortly after, she was adopted by loving and caring parents. She stayed with Chasity Guyer and her daughter while in the area.
The young lady gave the Chihuahua the moniker of Lucky Louis…
Since she couldn’t stop thinking about him, Kathleen Dallman decided to establish a GoFundMe campaign to gather money for him.
In a very short amount of time, they were able to amass more than $400, which Kathleen then presented to Ron as a gift.
As he saw the money, he burst into tears once again. It was difficult for him to acknowledge that the community was on his side. He requested some of the money that I had given him in order to help the Chihuahua. On the other hand, I reassured him that she was capable of supporting herself.
Afterwards, Ron informed Kathleen that he had been laid off during these difficult times, and that he is eager to find a new job that would provide him with stability.
Ron asserts that he plans to use the money toward the purchase of a mobile phone so that he may get in touch with prospective employers…
