Emma Heming, who is married to Bruce Willis, recently disclosed that the couple celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary by repeating their vows in the same location where they had their wedding.
During the ceremony, which took place in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the D..i..e Hard actor, who is now 68 years old, and his wife, who they have been married to for the last 14 years, were accompanied by his children and his ex-wife, Demi Moore.
Heming, who is 44 years old, posted a video of the ceremony to Instagram in which she can be seen walking down the aisle barefoot with her daughters Mabel Ray, 10, and Evelyn Penn, 8, serving as flower girls. Meanwhile, Bruce’s daughters Rumer and Scout played the guitar and sang during the ceremony.
According to Heming, “On the occasion of our tenth wedding anniversary, my wife and I made the decision to repeat our wedding vows in the same location in which we had our first ceremony in 2009. I’m really delighted we did. Embrace each and every occasion to get together and rejoice with your loved ones, both family and friends. They are the times and the wonderful little pockets of memories that you will be able to keep with you for the rest of your life. And we have the privilege of protecting and preserving those memories for people who maybe will not be able to do it themselves.
“A huge thank you to our wedding singers @rumerwillis @scoutlaruewillis, our videographer @demimoore, our two flower girls @stevoeads, Mabel Ray and Evelyn Penn, and @stevoeads for marrying us again. And to our wonderful family and friends, who have been there for us no matter what.”
Willis, who has been diagnosed with dementia, donned a white shirt and pants, sandals, and a Panama hat, whilst Heming wore a flowy white summer dress with a beautiful floral design. Both of them wore a Panama hats.
Willis and Heming exchanged a kiss after the exchange of vows, which was met with an ecstatic ovation from their family and friends. Following that, he flung his hat into the throng.
After then, Mabel, his daughter, went up to him and leaped into his arms.
2009 was the year that the pair tied the knot in the same location.
Willis had been married to Moore, now 60, back in 1987, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1998. They are the parents of three beautiful girls, Rumer, 34, Tallulah, 31, and Scout, 29.
The family of the actor who starred in The Fifth Element revealed in February 2022 that he had been diagnosed with aphasia, a neurological illness that affects speech and communication, and that he would be retiring from performing as a result of the diagnosis.
