Sophie Simmons, the daughter of KISS singer Gene Simmons and actress Shannon Tweed-Simmons, had two outfits that were straight out of a fairytale for her wedding to James Henderson, the man she’s been with for a very long time.

The pair, who had their first meeting in 2014 at a restaurant where Henderson was working as her waitress, sealed the marriage on February 22 in front of fifty close friends and family members at a private ceremony held at her mother’s house in Malibu.

The rocker’s daughter said that she fell in love with the dazzling pink dress by Galia Lahav the minute she laid eyes on it. She wore the dress to walk down the aisle and exchange kisses on the day she married her boyfriend.

Sophie says in an exclusive interview, “I didn’t even look at other outfits.” “I simply went on the designer Galia Lahav’s Instagram and saw that dress; as soon as I saw it, I said to myself, “Oh, absolutely, that’s going to be my dress.”

She continues, “I walked in, put on one outfit, and then I exclaimed, ‘That’s it!’ and walked out. Instantaneously, I was aware of it. And to tell you the truth, we did try on a few more dresses after that just for fun, but when I put this one on I knew it was the one. Then they said something along the lines of, “Let’s see if we can beat it.” Even when the other ladies were selecting their choices, I was thinking to myself, “Really, this is going to be my dress.” It was a perfect fit, and it was just as I had pictured it would be in my head and with everything else. It was a perfect match.”

It was a perfect match.”

Simmons’ mother, who was involved in the process of selecting her daughter’s dress, contributed to making it stand out even more by proposing that they add some shine to the bottom of the garment so that it would reflect the clear blue sky over Malibu.

“My mother gave me some advice that went something like this: “You need a bit more glitter on the bottom simply because the wedding is outdoors and the sun will strike it, and it’ll be incredibly gorgeous.” My mother said this to me. They brought out a number of underlayers of tulle that we could add for a variety of different sparkles, and she decided to go with the pink option.”

She liked the concept that her mother had suggested so much that she decided to carry it further with the outfit that she wore to the party.

“We made sure there was continuity between the ceremony dress and the reception dress by giving each of them a pink underlay. They are complementary to one another, and the top of my dress for the reception has the same top as the corset that my mother wore during the ceremony — it is extremely coherent.”

Sophie went for a strapless, corseted design for the reception that included a transparent bodice and tulle skirt. She maintained the pink touch that she had worn for the ceremony. She gave the skirt more depth and uniqueness by sewing stylish netting onto the bodice of the skirt.

What is Sophie most concerned about when she wakes up? Getting sauce from the spaghetti all over one of the beautiful patterns.

“I want marinara. Yes, I will definitely be wearing a bib. It is not possible for me to destroy these outfits. Those are just too stunning, “she shares. “I’ll have to remove it and hang it up, and you and I will each put on a robe while I eat, and then I’ll put it back on again.”

As for the groom, he chose to wear a dapper black suit by Tom Ford that was designed in the style of David Beckham.

She reveals that the reason her fiancé decided to wear a Tom Ford suit was that he saw a photograph of David Beckham wearing one. “He said something to the effect of, “I believe this outfit looks excellent.” When I saw it on David Beckham, my first thought was, “Oh, it’s on David Beckham, so anything would look beautiful.” Also, he was able to wear any suit.”

Since he wore a suit, he was able to coordinate his look with the other male guests at the wedding, including her father. This turned out to be an excellent decision. Simmons continues, “It looks really stunning on my fiance.”

The bridesmaids, on the other hand, wore their own unique designs and colors to the wedding, in contrast to the groomsmen, who all wore outfits that matched each other. The only person to wear the same color as the bride was her mother, who wore a pink gown.

Sophie expressed the desire that every one of her attendants “choose” their outfits for the wedding.

“I sent them a link to a website, and I commented that “every single one of these outfits is just stunning.” Whatever it is that you choose to put on. I just care that you feel at ease while wearing it. If you come across a dress that you believe you will be able to wear again, you should purchase it. Do not attempt to attain it only so that you can fit in with the atmosphere. There is no atmosphere here. There is no set path that we are following.'”
