The son of Guy Fieri, Ryder, had a significant birthday, and it wasn’t only because he turned 17 years old.

The youngest son of the Food Network celebrity celebrated his birthday on New Year’s Eve, and the big day arrived with a present that he has been earning for a whole year in preparation for the special occasion. Guy, who is 55 years old and has a son named Hunter who is 26 years old, said on the cover story of the September issue of PEOPLE that he had a rule about the boys’ first automobile.

“Do you know what kind of car Ryder drove to school when he received his driver’s license? He purchased the used Chrysler minivan with 259,000 miles that belonged to my parents. I will not purchase Ryder a vehicle, and I will not allow him to buy a car until he has driven the minivan for a full year without receiving any citations or being involved in any accidents “he said those words at the time.

When a year has gone, it is safe to say that Ryder is no longer required to ride in the minivan. According to Guy, who will be hosting “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives Live” at Food Network’s South Beach Wine and Food Festival on February 24, he set up a scavenger hunt for Ryder and his friends at his ranch in Northern California to reveal the big gift. “They had to climb all the way to the viewing point at the top of the mountain since the clue for the next-to-last piece of information pointed them there. Then it instructed us to “Come down where it’s deep and chilly” or anything to that effect, “remarked the host of the Tournament of Champions. “And I had opened the pool—now granted it’s 34 degrees up at the ranch in the wind—and in the pool linked to a pipe is the last clue,” I said. “And I had opened the pool.”

Following a failed effort to acquire the clue by using the pool skimmer, Ryder and his companions were forced to resort to jumping in the pool.

“They all undress to their boxers, and then they all leap in, whereupon he takes it out, obtaining it in the process. Because of the little amount of water that had spilled into the envelope, the letter was somewhat damp when he attempted to read it, but he persisted “says Fieri. “All he cared about was finding out [about] this vehicle,” she said.

In particular, it was for the crew cab pick-up truck that belonged to his brother: “Hunter wanted my vehicle, so Hunter purchased my truck, and we had Ryder buy Hunter’s truck.”

Ryder used the money he’s made working on his dad’s programs to pay for the remainder of the expense, and Guy and his wife, Lori, contributed enough money to cover half of the total cost.

“We had just finished taking the vehicle from Hunter, taking it to the detail shop, having it checked out completely, and making it Ryder’s truck when a few of my friends came driving up the driveway as we were honking the horn. He misplaced it. I’ve never seen somebody more excited about receiving a present as he was, “remarked the cook.

“To clarify, what exactly is the gift? The present is that we will pay for the remaining half of the cost, but you have to pay for the first half. But, he was really elated, “Then he adds.

Even after a few months have passed, none of the thrills has faded away. Guy claims that Ryder always takes the time to carefully reverse the vehicle into their driveway at night.

“The other night I met up with him. I arrived at my house at almost the same time as he did. I ask, “Are you going back in?” He responds with a “Well, yes. When seen from the front, the truck has a much more intimidating appearance “recalls Guy.

The Fieri family will be attending the South Beach Food and Wine Festival, which takes place from February 23rd to the 26th. During Guy Fieri’s event on Friday night, chefs who have been on the show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives will prepare live meals for the attendees of the party. This is the second year that he has hosted the party. After the event that his dad is hosting, Hunter will throw a party themed after “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives After Dark.”

Guy comments on the success that occurred in 2022, saying, “Who thought it was going to be such a great smash – enormous.” “We have a huge number of Triple D fans, and we’ve performed in a wide variety of venues. You may now visit South Beach, and in the span of a single evening, you’ll have the opportunity to dine at more than 25 different Triple D venues.”

Now is the time to get tickets for the Miami festival, which includes Guy’s performance.
