Some of the unfortunate men who arrived there require medical assistance, while others merely need attention and affection.

Among these visitors of the shelter is a cat called Radamens.

This cat is the most peculiar inhabitant of the shelter. And it is him who makes this refuge entirely distinctive.

The reality is that Radamens – very truly, following his own mental impulses, supports animals through arduous recuperation after procedures.

The tale of the cat itself is incredibly heartwarming and heartbreaking. It was brought at the age of two months by the previous owners for euthanasia.

The kitten developed acute upper respiratory tract irritation. This condition appeared so incurable and unusual that the kitten was segregated from the rest of the animals.

Yet with the efforts of the personnel at the shelter, Radamens was healed.

As soon as he rose to his feet, he immediately proceeded to take care of animals who ended up at the shelter, which were either ill or were undergoing rehabilitation following procedures.

The cat did not make a distinction – aiding cats, dogs or any other critters.

The personnel at the shelter even jokingly nicknamed Radamens a full-time nurse.
