In his last Instagram post before his alleged loss by suicide, Kyle Jacobs commemorated a significant achievement in his professional life.

According to a statement released by the Nashville Police Department, the composer, and husband of former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler passed away on Friday.

Jacobs had posted a congratulatory message on Instagram the day before he passed away, reflecting on the accomplishments of Lee Brice’s fifth studio album, Hey World album.

“Platinum?! SWEEEET!!! This one was put together by an incredible group of people who are extremely creative “wrote Jacobs in the comments section of his article.

He went on to say that he felt “I am profoundly gratified to have a creative role in it… Thank you, Jesus!!!”

In November 2021, Curb Records made the announcement that the album Hello World had achieved the status of gold, while the album’s breakthrough song “One of Them Girls” had achieved the status of double platinum, and “Memory I Don’t Mess With” was a gold single. At the time, “Hard to Love,” which was included on Brice’s second studio album, was also certified four times platinum as a single.

According to All Music, Jacobs was involved in the creation of Hey World both as a composer and a producer. In addition to that, he sang in the background and played the acoustic guitar.

It was verified by the Nashville Police Department in a statement that was shared on Friday that the Department of Emergency Communications was notified about a residence on Friday at 1:21 p.m. local time.

According to the statement, when authorities from the Nashville Police Department and the Nashville Fire Department arrived to the scene, they discovered the composer “d.e.a.d.” He was 49.

It seems that he killed himself and the authorities are looking into that possibility.

The former contestant on Dancing with the Stars, who is now 36 years old, said to the police that she woke up soon before but was unable to locate Jacobs. According to the statement, she and her personal assistant tried to enter a room in the home but were unable to unlock the door. As a result, they decided to contact the police.

According to Music City Hitmakers, Jacobs moved his family from Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Nashville, Tennessee, in the year 2000.

He is most known for penning the smash song “More Than A Memory” by Garth Brooks, which was released in 2007, as well as “Still” by Tim McGraw.

Also, he has collaborated with well-known musicians like Kelly Clarkson, Randy Travis, Scott McCreery, Josh Kelley, and Clay Walker, among others.

During the course of his career, Jacobs was nominated for a Grammy Award, in addition to winning a CMA Award and an ACM Award.

In 2011, he and Pickler took part in a private wedding ceremony and exchanged their vows. They did not bring any children into the world.
