Patrick Stone, the younger brother of Sharon Stone, has passed away. He was 57.
Late on Monday night, the actress posted a picture of herself and her brother on Instagram, with a caption confirming her brother had passed away.
She captioned the picture of her with her arm around Patrick with the words, “RIP my brother Patrick Joseph Stone.,” which she uploaded with another picture of her sibling grinning at the camera while resting.
Stone’s nephew River was 11 months old when he passed away in 2021 due to “complete organ failure.” River’s father, Patrick, was Stone’s brother.
On Sunday, Patrick’s widow expressed her sorrow at the loss of her husband by informing his friends and family on his various social media platforms that he had passed away in the wee hours of the morning.
“My chest is aching, and it seems as if someone has yanked my heart out of it. At around 3:30 this morning, Patrick crossed across to be with our dear River “she had written. “I don’t know what more to say, he was my universe,” the mourner sobbed.
He was the most difficult person to get along with while having the largest heart of anybody I know “She added that he was the father of “wonderful children that he loved and worshipped” in her letter, which she sent to his profile.
“The first time I saw him, I had no doubt in my mind that we would eventually be married. I felt a connection to him right away, and even though we drove one other utterly crazy for the next 20 years, we loved each other in the deepest possible way. Without my very best buddy, I have no idea what to do.
“I take some comfort in knowing that we had one of the finest days full of love and that the times we spent throughout the day I know that he did not question the depth of my love for him,” she said. “It was one of the days that I will never forget.”
Tasha referred to him as her “soul mate” on the grounds that the two of them “just got each other even at our ugliest.”
“My dear, wonderful, and at times annoying husband, I would not have altered a single minute of the last 20 years (except for the fact that our child was taken to Heaven), other than giving you more love… My prayer is that despite everything, River is able to spend some quality time with his father, River and that the two of you are enjoying yourself to the fullest. Give him the largest hug and kiss you can muster on behalf of the whole group, and make sure he stays out of trouble.
According to TMZ, which was the first to disclose the news of his passing, the office of the Pennsylvania coroner said the reason for his loss was judged to be a sudden cardiac loss caused by heart illness. This information was provided by the office of the Pennsylvania coroner.
In September of 2021, Stone, who was then 64 years old, spoke candidly about her experiences with organ donation. She said that “nothing helped” her family “sustain the awful loss” of her nephew and godson in the same way that organ donations did.
“The fact that my godson was able to save three lives, two newborns and a 45-year-old man was a refuge for our family,” she said at the time. “The fact that my godson was able to save three lives, two infants and a 45-year-old man,” “All I can say is that you never, ever know when a catastrophe will occur in your life or in the life of your family, but the chance to be an organ donor saved us, and it saved our family. I can’t say anything else.”
She continued by saying that while a lot of people have a lot of different ideas about this, in the end, it provided us some serenity.
Two weeks prior to that, the actress from Basic Instinct shared a video in which she broke her fans’ hearts by revealing that her godson had passed away.
She captioned the video with, “River William Stone September 8, 2020 – August 30, 2021,” which included home footage of River as well as Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” playing in the background.
