Priscilla Presley’s name is inextricably linked to that of her husband, Elvis Presley, who is known as the King of Rock and Roll. Their romantic history has remained one of the most widely discussed issues over the years, all the way up to the current day. Everyone’s curiosity was rekindled when Baz Luhrmann’s biopic “Elvis” was made available in theaters. Austin Butler and Olivia DeJonge gave outstanding performances as Elvis Presley and his wife, Lisa Marie Presley.
On May 1, 1967, Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley tied the wedding. Unexpectedly, Priscilla discovered that she was pregnant, and Lisa Marie, their one and only child as a couple, was born after a pregnancy of nine months.
Their relationship deteriorated over time as a direct result of Elvis’ turbulent relationship with Priscilla and his rumored indiscretions with other women, and as a result, they finally received a divorce. After this, the singer and his ex-wife agreed to share custody of their daughter Lisa Marie. As part of the settlement, Elvis provided his ex-wife with more than half a million dollars in cash, in addition to spousal support, child support, five percent of the singer’s publishing companies, and one-half of the value of their Beverly Hills homes. It seemed as if Lisa Marie’s future was ensured by this development.
Elvis Presley passed away in August of 1977, only a few months after he was discovered comatose and lying on the toilet floor of his Graceland residence. As a consequence of this, Lisa Marie was designated as the only inheritor of the music icon’s estate as well as the complete music catalog until the sad event that occurred on January 12, 2023, when she was 54 years old.
Priscilla, on the other hand, went on to rediscover love and finally wed Marco Garibaldi in 1984. Priscilla’s story is told in a different movie. It is said that the two first became acquainted with one another via a common acquaintance when they were working together on a screenplay that she was attempting to develop.
Priscilla did, in fact, have another kid, but it was not with Elvis but rather with Marco, her second husband. This fact is mostly unknown to the general public.
Priscilla Presley spoke up about her life and her connection with Elvis in an interview that took place in 2012 with The Guardian. It was commonly believed that when she was a teenager, Elvis helped shape her image by dressing her and making sure she looked the way he wanted her to.
“Right after we were married in May of 1967, when I was 21 years old, I discovered that I was pregnant. At first, I was completely shocked and dismayed. I immediately had the idea, “Oh my my, here I am married, and now I’m pregnant, and I’m not going to look nice anymore.” “It was a very difficult period,” Priscilla went on to explain.
After giving birth to Lisa Marie on February 1, 1968, Priscilla quickly realized that she would be responsible for the majority of Lisa Marie’s upbringing on her own. She added that Elvis “wasn’t a hands-on parent” at all. Lisa Marie was fortunate in that her mother “took readily to being a mother” and that she tried her best to raise her.
“I was the disciplinarian, and although there were moments when Lisa didn’t like it, you can’t live life without limits. There is no other way.” She is aware that I was extremely understated and had a very calm demeanor.
“We were extremely cordial about the divorce because we truly wanted Elvis to be a part of Lisa’s life, and they spent a lot of time together after the divorce was finalized,” Priscilla revealed. Lisa was 4 years old at the time.
Since she ended her romance with Elvis, Priscilla has been in a number of other romantic partnerships. According to the book titled “Black Belt,” when the divorce was finalized, she quickly began a new relationship with Mike Stone, a karate teacher who had previously taught both her and Elvis Presley. However, the couple’s marriage ended in 1975, not long after the breakup of their romance. During that time, she was romantically involved with many notable individuals, including photographer Terry O’Neill and lawyer Robert Kardashian, among others.
Her partnership with Marco lasted the longest; the two of them were married for a total of 22 years. According to Biography.com, Marco is an Italian scriptwriter who transitioned into a career as a computer programmer. They had one child together, a musician by the name of Navarone Anthony Garibaldi who is 35 years old.
Navarone was born three years after Priscilla and Marco tied the knot and became parents. He followed in the footsteps of his late half-sister, Lisa Marie, and pursued a career in music after leaving home. The Los Angeles, California-based rock band Them Guns presently features him as the band’s vocalist. The five-piece musical ensemble is led by Navarone, who also plays guitar and sings lead vocals for the band.
The band was characterized as having a rock background, a hint of surf/ska vocals, and funked-out keys by Santa Cruz Waves. This combination creates a sound that is enjoyable for fans of classic, alternative, and psychedelic rock music.
The band has achieved considerable success in the rock scene, playing to packed houses at places such as The Viper Room and The Troubadour as well as many more.
In addition to the significant role that music had in Navarone’s life, he also developed a deep appreciation for reptiles. According to an article published in Reptile Magazine, the musician, who is 35 years old, is also a reptile daddy to his offspring, which consists of reticulated pythons and Asian water monitors.
The fact that Priscilla’s second kid does not go by the name Presley, as his mother did, is the primary reason why so few people are aware of his existence. In spite of the fact that utilizing the ever-famous name of the King of Rock and Roll would have provided a significant boost to his music career, he chose to adopt the less well-known surname of his father.
Priscilla and Navarone have a long history of spending time together, which includes going to the premieres of movies. Even Priscilla has been seen at many of Navarone’s gigs over the years.
In spite of the fact that his half-sister Lisa Marie has amassed a greater amount of notoriety and praise than Navarone has, the artist has been exerting a lot of effort to establish his own identity, particularly in the music industry.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Navarone has shown his passion for music, particularly across such a vast variety of musical styles. The sound of his band was influenced musically by artists and bands such as Nine Inch Nails and Nirvana.
On the other hand, contrary to what many people believed, Navarone does not seem to have quite as much of an interest in being the center of attention. In the year 2012, Priscilla shared the following explanation: “He wants to pursue his own thing, and I’m incredibly proud of him.” He has never been one to seek the limelight, and his reluctance to do so has been consistent throughout his life. He is not going to ride on Lisa, and he is not going to ride on Elvis.
She continued by saying, “We have never been, ‘Elvis this, Elvis that,’ to our children because otherwise you’re building up something that is nearly impossible for them.” [Citation needed]
According to a story in the Daily Mail from February 2022, Navarone tied the knot with the woman who would later become his wife in Switzerland. Elisa Achillli was the bride. Navarone looks to have a beautiful life. The spouse was quoted as saying that he “can’t picture living without” Achilli. And, as expected, Priscilla was there to provide her support to her son and said that she “couldn’t be happier” for him.
The mother and son team have been known to post images of each other on their own Instagram profiles during the course of their relationship. Priscilla was included in the snapshot that Navarone once shared on social media, in which he thanked his family for the opportunity to be with them and expressed his gratitude.
Priscilla has taken great pleasure in her roles as a mother and a grandmother, despite the recent string of misfortunes that have befallen her family with the passing of her daughter Lisa Marie and her son Benjamin Keough. “Because I come from a large family, I place a high value on family,” she said. “…Sometimes things go very, really well and other times they don’t, but I believe it’s vital for children to have relatives who are near and there and to know that they have that support,” the speaker said.
