Michael Strahan is a very delighted father to his baby!

In a touching Instagram post published on Monday, the 51-year-old co-host of Good Morning America paid tribute to his mother, Louise Strahan, on the occasion of her birthday.

He also uploaded a flashback picture from his time when playing for the New York Giants as well as an older shot of him making a goofy face while his mother hugged him. The photos were all published on his social media account.

The photographs were captioned with the phrase “Happy Birthday to my lovely Mom, Louise,” which he used throughout the post. “You have always been a reliable rock that is brimming with love and embrace. I consider myself the luckiest guy alive to be able to name you my mom, and I wish that on your birthday, you could experience as much love as you give to others. Love you, Lou!! .”

He concluded his letter with a lighthearted jest, saying, “P.S. the next time, I’ll let you win at cards.”

It is not unusual for Strahan to lavish praise on members of his family.

Isabella made her debut as a model on the runway in April, and her father, Michael Strahan, who is the father of Michael Jr., 27, Tanita, 31, and the twin’s Isabella and Sophia, 18, was there to cheer her on. She had finished walking in the Sherri Hill fashion show when we spoke to her.

On Instagram, Strahan uploaded a video from his daughter Isabella’s special day, which included photographs of the two of them together at the event as well as many of Isabella’s outfits for the runway.

Isabella Strahan tweeted her congratulations to the model, saying, “Very proud of you, @isabellastrahan, for nailing your first runway this weekend for @sherrihill!!!!” “There is nothing more rewarding for a parent than to see their kid happy and successful doing something that they like doing themselves. #ProudDad#GirlDad.”

In the comments part of the piece, some of Strahan’s celebrity pals expressed their approval and solidarity with him.

Paula Faris, who once served as an anchor on Good Morning America, responded with “O.M.G.,” knowing well well that her former coworkers were likely “secretly dying” at the thought of anybody ever going near them.

Amy Robach followed her comment with a series of emojis depicting people cheering, while Lara Spencer commented, “I am very glad to see this.”

Tanita and Michael Jr. are shared by Strahan with his ex-wife Wanda Hutchins, while Isabella and Sophia are shared with his ex-girlfriend Jean Muggli.
