The family of John Legend and Chrissy Teigen has recently welcomed a new member: a baby boy!

The delighted new father announced that the couple’s kid was born on Friday, January 13, only a few hours after the birth of his child.

During a private performance, Legend, now 43 years old, informed the audience that they should welcome “the tiny baby this morning.”

He said, “What a great day it is!”

The singer went on to say that despite the fact that he “didn’t get a lot of sleep,” he “feels rejuvenated” after spending “a lot of time” in the medical facility.

Attendees of the special occasion rushed to their respective social media accounts as soon as the exciting baby news was announced.

One of the attendees at the performance tweeted: “@johnlegend just informed us he had a kid this morning.”

After suffering a devastating miscarriage in October 2020, the couple finally became pregnant again and gave birth to a healthy child in 2021. The couple already has a son, Miles Theodore, who is 412 years old, and a daughter, Luna Simone, who is 612 years old.

“We’re all thrilled,” Legend added, “and, you know, my kids are old enough to really be aware of what’s happening, so they’re really anticipating having a new sibling in their life.” Legend’s children are old enough to truly be aware of what’s happening to they are older. And I believe that they will be capable of playing the role of big sister and big brother.”

In September, Teigen, who is 37 years old, shared that her children Luna and Miles were aware of her pregnancy from an early stage and that they were “extremely enthusiastic” about the new addition to their family.

She said that since they used in vitro fertilization, they found out they were expecting a child about nine days after the embryo was transferred. “I informed them very, really early on.”

“They were aware that I would be going in for the transfer and that we would be going in to place this egg inside of Mommy’s tummy. They understood this from the very first moment, and they were aware that there was a possibility that it wouldn’t work since similar things had failed in the past “said Teigen, who disclosed that she was expecting in the month of August.

The star of the show noted that her two older children had been eager for a considerable amount of time. “Due to the fact that they have been aware of the pregnancy from the very beginning, I have the impression that this will be the longest pregnancy for them. However, they have been showing signs of extreme excitement.”
