According to TMZ, Lisa Marie Presley, who was the daughter of Elvis Presley, died suddenly on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54, after being transported to the hospital after being discovered comatose in her California home. She had been found by her family members.

Lisa Marie Presley was one of the most famous children in the world when she was first born on February 1, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee to her famous parents, Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. She was born precisely nine months after her famous parents had a quick ceremony in their room at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas to officially join their lives together as husband and wife.

Following her father’s passing in 1977, she was named as a beneficiary in her father’s final will and testament, along with her great-grandmother Minnie and grandpa Vernon. Her father had predeceased her in 1977. However, Vernon passed away in 1979, and Minnie followed him the following year. Because of this, Lisa Marie was the sole beneficiary of Elvis’ trust who was still alive up to the time of her death. She became the inheritor of her father’s wealth in 1993, which was worth $100 million at the time of her inheritance.

Since she was Elvis’s only daughter, her children – she had a total of four — were his only grandkids. Since she was the only daughter of Elvis, she was also his only granddaughter. Lisa Marie’s first two children, Riley Keough and her late son Benjamin Keough, were born to her and her ex-husband Danny Keough. Her second set of children, Harper and Finley Lockwood, were co-parented with her first ex-husband, Michael Lockwood.

Lisa Marie began her career in the music industry, much like her father before her, and soon discovered her own unique voice in the process. She went on to record a couple albums and several singles, all of which contributed to the widespread acclaim she received. In addition to her work as a musician, Lisa Marie has spent a significant portion of her life volunteering for a variety of charitable organizations, including the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation.

The stunning image that captures Elvis and Priscilla Presley gazing down at their newborn daughter Lisa Marie is one that the majority of people are acquainted with. Elvis Presley gazed adoringly at his daughter Lisa Marie as Priscilla held her and carefully wrapped her in a swaddling blanket.

“After the nurse had brought her into my room, I held her gently in my arms while she cried. She was incredibly adorable, despite her little size “Priscilla was very generous. “Elvis walked into the room and gave me a passionate kiss, ecstatic that we had given birth to a totally normal and healthy child. After that, he embraced both of us and held us in his arms.”

According to PEOPLE, Lisa Marie Presley published a memoir titled “Elvis by the Presleys” in which she discussed the happy memories she had from her childhood. Priscilla helped Lisa Marie write the book.

“It was a sign that the day was going to be fantastic if Elvis was feeling up to it. Either on horses or on golf carts, we would go about the property. One thing that can be said about my dad is that he has never been one to keep a secret. You were well aware of his crabbiness, “Lisa Marie stated. “It’s possible that Darth Vader may learn something from his fury. However, if he was pleased, then everyone else was happy as well. He will never make you feel bored.”

She had fond memories of the home she had spent her childhood on, describing it as “wonderful” and constantly “full with energy and excitement.”

In spite of the ups and downs that occurred in both her personal life and her family life, Lisa Marie made it known to the world that she loved her father even after he had passed away for a number of years. She told me, “I wanted you to know that I haven’t forgotten anything we spoke about. You created me. I adore you. You haven’t lost any of your charm. You were really charming back then.”

She reportedly had a happy retrospective attitude about the times she spent with Elvis, as reported by Entertainment Tonight. She phoned her father and said: “Very affectionate, very nice. I had no doubt in my mind that he had a serious crush on me. He invited me to perform for him while we were eating.”

Relationship of affection between a mother and her daughter

Lisa Marie and her mother remained steadfastly at one other’s sides throughout this ordeal. They had a wonderful connection with one another, which the world was able to appreciate thanks to the existence of breathtaking images and unique movies. It was for this reason that reading Priscilla’s message that said, “My dearly loved daughter Lisa Marie was transported to the hospital,” only a few short hours before Lisa Marie passed away, was so painful to the heart.

According to the Daily Mail, the mother and daughter duo had shed tears together just a few days earlier while attending the Golden Globes together. During Austin Butler’s speech, which was about the significance of the King of Rock and Roll’s legacy, they had been moved to tears as they listened to the speech.

Keeping The Presley Name Alive And Well

In 2015, Lisa Marie and Priscilla reminisced about Elvis during the ELVIS: The Exhibition – The Show – The Experience event that took place in Las Vegas. However, it was the biopic “Elvis” that was released in 2022 that drew them back together for another publicity tour.

The fact that Lisa Marie, who had made an appearance at the movie’s red carpet premiere, had been relatively quiet in the time after the movie’s release is one of the reasons why many people were taken aback by her terrible passing. She was there with Priscilla and Riley, marking the occasion of the “Elvis” press tour with their presence.
