Anne Hathaway went all out for the “red carpet” virtual event that she hosted on Instagram to show off her extremely glamorous outfit for the international premiere of her newest film, The Witches. As seen in photographs taken by photographer Greg Williams, Hathaway celebrated the release of her most recent film while wearing a lovely ruffled gown courtesy of Ralph & Russo. She posed for the photographs on the rooftop of Harrods in London, which was lit up at dusk.

On her Instagram account, Hathaway captioned the photos with the phrase “no premiere, no problem.” “I hope that all of you enjoy Robert Zemeckis’s remake of #TheWitchesMovie, which is now streaming on @HBOMax!”

Hathaway kept her jewelry to a minimum, opting instead for a set of understated diamond stud earrings as her only piece of adornment. Her evening-time beauty look consisted of dark brown hair styled into a fashionable chignon, front-side bangs that swept across her forehead, black kohl-winged liner, and matching deep-red lipstick. Her eyes were accentuated with a dramatic cat eye. In one of the additional photos that Williams uploaded on her Instagram account, Hathaway can be seen posing with her arms up as a reference to the character that she plays in the film as the leading evil witch.

The release of Hathaway’s newest film has been moved from a postponed debut in theaters as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak to an immediate launch on HBO Max’s streaming service. The film adapts both the novel written by Roald Dahl in 1983 and the movie starring Anjelica Huston, which was released in 1990, for a modern audience and Anne Hathaway stars in the film as the Grand High Witch. Cast members include Anne Hathaway, Chris Rock, Octavia Spencer, Kristin Chenoweth, and Stanley Tucci, who co-starred with Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada.
