The actress expressed her regret in an old interview by saying that during the early stages of her motherhood, she wishes that she had spent less time working on movies and more time with her family.

Lansbury passed away on October 11, 2022, when she was sleeping at her home in Los Angeles, five days before she would have been 97 years old. The legendary actress from Hollywood is survived by her three children, Anthony, Deidre, and David; her three grandsons, Peter, Katherine, and Ian; her five great-grandchildren; and her brother, Edgar. Her friends, her family, and her fans will mourn her tremendously since they delighted in seeing her flawlessly recreate her parts on the big screen. Lansbury will be sorely missed.

In reference to the latter, the actress gained likely the greatest amount of notoriety for her role as the protagonist in “Murder, She Wrote,” which is considered to be one of the most successful television programs in history. After that, she was offered numerous parts and received multiple nominations for awards. Lansbury cemented her status as one of the most recognizable performers in Hollywood with the passage of time.

There were elm trees that were three hundred years old, a river that ran down the rear of the property, and beautiful Victorian gardens all around.”

Lansbury went on to say that when she was in Ireland, she was able to relive all of her dreams from her younger years. The actress claims that she and the Irish country music singer Paddy O’Brien planted fresh gardens for each of the four seasons.

In addition, Lansbury was known to take her children on lengthy strolls in the countryside. In general, it was such a wonderful time that Lansbury considered retiring as a result of the experience.

However, Anthony made a full recovery from his illness eight years after the couple relocated, at which point they decided to sell their property in Ireland. Lansbury also went back to working in the film industry in the United States, where she produced movies including “Murder, She Wrote.”

In 2018, it was reported that “Murder, She Wrote” viewers will finally be able to visit the Blair House Bread and Breakfast, which served as the outside of Jessica Fletcher’s house in the show.
