Even though Kylie Jenner is not your normal mother—for starters, she operates a beauty empire—this does not imply that she is immune to the hardships that other parents go through when they have a child at home. On the latest season of the second season of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kylie Jenner admitted to her sister Kendall that after giving birth to a son with boyfriend Travis Scott, she was not only completely drained but also experiencing the “baby blues,” which is a fitting name given to the hormonal problems that can occur after giving birth. The baby’s name has not yet been revealed.

“It’s been quite challenging for me…

“I sobbed constantly every day for the first three weeks,” the mother of two children says to her sister in a scene that takes place at the beginning of the episode. It’s only the baby blues, and they’ll go gone after a while… I sobbed constantly for the better part of three weeks. That it got to the point where I’d be lying in bed, and my head would just throb so much.”

Jenner gives an interview to the camera in which she discusses the things that she has discovered via study and her personal experiences. “I’m not a doctor, but according to what I read on Google, they term it baby blues when it doesn’t continue beyond six weeks after giving birth. And after about a month, I finally began to feel like myself again. But I was clearly suffering from a case of the blues. If her symptoms continued for a longer period of time, it would be reasonable to assume that she was suffering from depression. It does not seem like this is the case with Kylie, which is a relief.

Kendall, who is attempting to convince her to attend an 818 Tequila event in Las Vegas, continues to persuade Kylie Jenner to attend the event by telling her, “I don’t have terrible days with my body, I have awful days, like, emotionally.” Kylie promises she will attend and keep her coat on the entire time, but in the end, she chooses not to go. Her seat on the aircraft is taken by Hailey Bieber, who seems to have a good time in the event. Spoiler alert!

This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Kylie Jenner shared her postpartum issues with the world back in March, and she said that despite the pressure to go “back,” she was feeling better and that she was making mental progress despite the setbacks.
