Yesterday evening, Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez were seen enjoying a tender moment together.
They were seen spending time together yesterday night at the second annual Academy Museum Gala, which took place in Los Angeles, and both the model and the actress were present. One of the photographs, which was shot by photographer Tyrell Hampton, shows the two celebrities smiling as they move closer to one another during the event, while another image shows them hugging each other.
Hailey accessorized her evening look with a vintage Tiffany & Co. necklace, which she wore with a seductive strapless gown from Saint Laurent’s spring/summer 2023 collection. The gown had a torso cutout and ruched details and was part of the brand’s spring/summer 2023 collection. In the meanwhile, Selena opted for a stylish black suit with satin lapels and flared pants, which she complemented with open-toe shoes and dramatic chandelier earrings.
The event occurs after Hailey addressed fan conjecture that has persisted for years over an apparent conflict between herself and Selena related to their respective relationships with Justin Bieber. The model said, during her participation on the Call Her Daddy podcast one month ago, that contrary to the beliefs held by Selena’s admirers, she did not date the “Peaches” singer at the same time as Selena.
In the podcast, Hailey said that she and Justin reignited their romance in 2018 after the singer had “closed a chapter” with Selena. She also stated that she “period, point blank… was never in a connection with him while he was with anybody.”
In addition to this, Hailey said that she is aware of what others say about her online and expressed the desire that others would just let things go and come to terms with the truth of the situation.
“The continuation comes from the mistake, ‘Oh, you took him,'” she added. “The perpetuation comes from the misperception.” “It stems from the fact that they had hoped he would end up with someone else, which is completely OK. You have every right to have such hopes, but unfortunately, such is not the situation.

A few days after the podcast was made available to the public, Selena seemed to reply to Hailey’s remarks during a Tik Tok live broadcast, in which she underlined the significance of the words one uses to describe other people.
“I believe that there are certain things that I don’t even need to be aware of because they are simply so horrible and awful. And it’s not fair because nobody should ever be addressed in the way that I’ve seen because it’s not appropriate.
She went on to say that she finds it “ironic” that admirers of her Rare Beauty brand, which just recently came out with a collection of Kind Words Matte Lipsticks and Lip Liners, might also be incapable of comprehending the significance of words.
“If you support Rare, I can’t thank you enough, but I want you to know that by doing so, you are also embodying what it stands for, which is that words count. Actually, matters. Therefore, it is coming from me, and I just want all of you to know that I hope that you realize that this is far greater than anything else.”
