“There is a severe shortage of caregivers in our nation. But there isn’t a shortage of love in this world.
“The individuals who work in the caregiving industry are amazing, as are the millions of people who look after loved ones in their own homes. And I believe that is probably why you voted for this because you know that it is all of you who feel like we are the only ones who are experiencing this loneliness.
We are all in need of some tender loving care. Therefore, a huge thank you to you. It is really important to each and every one of those folks.
Garraway had earlier said to the PA news agency that while it was “bittersweet” to be nominated in the category, the reception to her film had been “wonderful.” During her time on the NTA red carpet, she gave an interview to PA in which she said that “you wouldn’t really want to be in the position to be doing that documentary because it wouldn’t be a circumstance that you would select.”
