As production of the third season of Emily in Paris comes to a close, Lily Collins expresses her appreciation to her husband Charlie McDowell for the support he has given her.
On Wednesday, the 33-year-old actress revealed on her Instagram Story a handwritten message from her husband wishing her luck on her first day of filming in June. The note was made for her to read on her first day of filming.
On the card, it said, “Emily, I hope you have a wonderful first day! You should really show those high heels who’s in charge!”
She accompanied the photo with the following message: “From the very first day till the very last day, thank you for supporting and encouraging me @CharlieMcDowell.” “It’s getting close to that time again when we can hang up the heels.”
“Happy final day to our wonderfully committed @EmilyinParis staff,” she said. “I hope you all had a wonderful time.” “My joyful, weary feet and the incredible cast family,” the actor said.
In addition to sharing the heartfelt letter, Collins also released a collection of behind-the-scenes photographs from the set of the Netflix comedy in celebration of the show’s last day of production for season 3.
A mirror selfie with her glam crew and shots with costars Ashley Park, Camille Razat, Bruno Gouery, Samuel Arnold, and Zoe Bouch was among the photographs.
“When I complete each season of Emily in Paris, I go through a range of feelings that are impossible to put into words, and this year is no exception. We have, without a doubt, the greatest and most loyal team there is, and a cast that I feel comfortable referring to as a family “The post was captioned by her. “We are grateful to you for always supporting, elevating, and encouraging us, as well as working really hard to make this all possible. I can’t wait to tell other people about what we’ve come up with. Proud doesn’t even give it justice.”
She continued in French by saying, “Je vous aime tous,” which literally translates to “I adore you all.”
A preview for the next season of Emily in Paris was made available on Netflix this past Saturday.
“This is the toughest choice I’ve ever had to make,” says Emily, who is still entangled in a sexual triangle with the sizzling chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and the stylish British gentleman Alfie. “This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make,” adds Emily (Lucien Laviscount).
Emily must decide whether to accept an offer from her boss Madeline (Kate Walsh), which would require her to leave Paris (and her men), or whether to stay at Savoir with her prickly but formidable mentor Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu). Beyond her love triangle, Emily must also decide whether to accept an offer from her boss Madeline (Kate Walsh), which would require her to leave Paris (and her men).
A press release for the upcoming season 3 states that the social media savvy protagonist, Emily, will continue to “immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.” The release also makes a veiled reference to the fact that the choices Emily makes during this upcoming season will have an effect on “her future in France.”
Emily in Paris, seasons 1 and 2, are now available to watch in their entirety on Netflix. The launch of Season 3 is scheduled for the 21st of December.
