Being without a home is a terrible and terrifying experience for any species. The only way to endure the difficult days is to wander around, searching for food and a safe place to stay temporarily. When something unexpected and unwelcome happens to someone out of the blue, it may make an already difficult situation a great deal worse for that unfortunate person. They have no one to turn to for assistance, so all they can do is sit about and watch their life pass them by in a state of helpless resignation.

Unfortunately, a stray dog that had made her way onto the 110 Freeway was killed when she was struck by a vehicle. A lady seen her and immediately contacted the group to request assistance. They had promised to arrive, but after twenty-four hours had gone, the unfortunate puppy was still in that location. Instead of calling for urgent assistance, her niece texted Hope For Paws. Eldad made a beeline towards the spot in order to save the dog as soon as he could.

While he was driving to the location, he kept asking himself whether or not the dog was still living. Eldad came to the conclusion that it would be too risky for him to carry out this rescue attempt by himself in this complicated area, therefore he made the decision to call for assistance from the Los Angeles Department. They had no reservations about lending a helping hand and were eager to do it immediately.

When they were finally able to approach the dog, she was in obvious discomfort, but thankfully, she was still alive. Eldad coddled her as he covered her in the blanket. The little dog did not put up much of a struggle and instead let the man pick her up since she was aware that she need assistance. She was given the initials PD, and after being transferred to the hospital, she received the most advanced medical care possible. The adorable little child seems overjoyed to have been saved.

PD was dirty and had fleas all on him in addition to having serious injuries. The unfortunate animal was forced to go through three separate surgical procedures. The first surgery was to repair her fractured leg, the second was to repair her broken paw, torn ligaments, and joint instability, and the third and final surgery was to spay her and remove all of the metal pins. Every one of the operations was a complete and total success.

PD was finally able to return to his usual life after a protracted period of recuperation. PD now has a wonderful forever home, thanks to the efforts of L.A. Animal Rescue. At this point in her life, she is leading a fulfilled existence with her loving owners. PD, just like every other valuable dog in the world, is entitled to an affection-filled existence for the rest of his days.
