Richard Jordan was traveling through Louisiana, United States, when he came upon a kennel (also known as a guacal), which caused him to delay the continuation of his journey due to his natural sense of inquiry.

When he went down, he found a lone German shepherd on the side of the road; he had no clue how this beautiful dog got there, but it was clear that the canine needed aid. He walked back up the hill and left the German shepherd.

Richard made his first post about the dog on the area Facebook group known as SWLA Info Station in the hopes of gaining further information and getting the word out about the predicament.

Richard made an effort to explain the situation in his post by stating that it was unknown if the dog had been abandoned on the tracks or whether it was the result of an accident in which the kennel had really fallen from a moving vehicle.

Richard had to wait for social services as he worked to gain the canine’s confidence while he dealt with the dog’s first state of fear, which caused him to refuse to leave his cage.

Richard described the German Shepherd as a “great and amazing canine,” despite the fact that it gave off the appearance of being an animal that was about to be discarded. When he was finally close enough to the dog, he was able to make out that the dog was wearing a personalized necklace that had the word “Borel” engraved on it.

In the end, employees from social services arrived and discovered that Borel had a microchip, which led them to the conclusion that the dog had been purchased from a breeder in the city of Dallas, Texas.

According to Richard, there is now a waiting list of people who wish to adopt Borel and the list is constantly growing. Borel, the German Shepherd, may have been a victim of “fashionable” type breeding, according to Jordan. It is not quite clear how the dog came to be abandoned by the side of the road in his kennel.

Borel was born in October, which was at the same time that a dog named Conan, who had truly been taught to destroy terrorists, became well recognized. Borel was named after the dog since he had been trained to eliminate terrorists.

Richard is under the impression that this encouraged a lot of people to get German shepherds, which led to an increase in people giving up when they realized they couldn’t handle the responsibility.

Richard has written:

“These dogs are considered to be excessive for the typical person, and the terrified dog that you see in the woods today is a victim of this. This is the result of buying breeds that are now fashionable.

Borel is fortunate in that a large number of people want to take him in and provide him with a permanent home that is full of affection. This will provide him the opportunity to recover from all that he has been through up to this point.
