After breaking up with Shep Rose, Taylor Ann Green is putting all of her energy into moving on to better things.
On Tuesday, Green, who is now 27 years old, sent a message to the public on her and her co-star on Southern Charm’s current situation in an Instagram Story that has since expired.
“Disclaimer to everyone: Shep and I are broken up, we have kept a cordial relationship but would appreciate not hearing what my ex is up to while I’m still trying to heal,” she wrote, as shown on the Instagram account @queensofbravo. “We have kept a cordial relationship but would appreciate not hearing what my ex is up to while I’m still trying to heal.” “Thank you so much in advance.”
The tweet made by Green comes after months of rumors and questions being asked about the nature of Rose and her relationship. In July, it was originally reported by PEOPLE that Green and Rose had broken up. Infidelity on Rose’s part was reportedly the primary factor that led to the breakup of the couple.
“One source told People at the time that Shep has a problem with monogamy and that he refused to commit to Taylor, telling her that he doesn’t want to be with just one person and change his lifestyle. Another source added, “She’s incredibly hurt, but she knows that she deserves a guy who will fight for her, not one who is so selfish.” He won’t be happy about this.”
It was revealed on the broadcast of Watch What Happens Live that aired on August 11 that Taylor had verified to presenter Andy Cohen that she and Rose, 42, were not dating.
Not including the notorious “stairwell incident,” in which Rose acknowledged to kissing another woman, Green told Cohen, 54, that she would “have to believe” Rose was not completely loyal to her throughout their relationship. Green made this statement after Rose admitted to kissing another woman.
In a recent episode of Southern Charm, which aired about a month ago, the cameras recorded a scene between the two of them that prompted another cast member, Naomie Olindo, to accuse Rose of being “abusive” against Green.
The group was playing egg throw when Rose accidentally stepped on Green’s egg after he had dropped it. This caused Green to lose his cool and yell at Rose, calling her a “f—-ing moron.”
Olivia Flowers took her frustration out on Rose by hurling an egg in her direction, while Olindo rushed to Green’s rescue. Green heard Olindo say to her, “He can’t speak to you like that.” Olindo was addressing Green. “That is just ridiculous. That is really disrespectful to say the least.”
Olindo and Green went inside after Rose said something to the effect of “The wussification of America continues.”
After being encouraged to do so by the other members of the cast, Rose ultimately apologized. He told Green, “I’m not a fool, and I know that you make me a better person when we’re together. I’m not a fool.” “And if I’m not good enough, alright, I will be sad and brokenhearted, but you know how much of an f—-ing fool I am, so I’ll understand.” “And if I’m not good enough, well, I will be sad and brokenhearted.”
Green answered by saying, “I love you so much, and my family loves you tremendously, but I am fatigued.”

After that, he inquired as to what it was that she desired for him to perform in order for them to proceed together. Green expressed her desire to him that he “put your ego aside and be good to others” by telling him this.
Rose reached the conclusion that “that is totally equitable.”
Rose blamed the difficulties of dating in the public glare for the couple’s issues, saying that “it is tough to cultivate a relationship on TV.” She attributed their problems to the challenges of dating in the public eye. “The best way for me to explain it is to say that during all of my years on the program, I was juggling one ball; that ball represented me. I’m now juggling myself, my partner, and our relationship all at the same time. When you put forth a lot of effort, the results aren’t always satisfactory. Because I was working so hard, I believe it contributed to some of my problems.”
