When a sad puppy was discovered in a trash box at a high school in Sacramento, the story tells of how his ears had just recently been chopped off. The school is located in Sacramento. Thankfully, locals took him in and made the decision to care for him until he was picked up by the Public Information Coordinator at the Front Street Animal Shelter, who had heard about his situation.

When the dog, whose name was Piglet, first came at the home of his foster mother, he was quiet and lonely, but as soon as he won his foster mother’s confidence, his personality started to emerge.

Piglet was fortunate enough to experience what it’s like to have a home to call his own after being taken in by a loving family. What a complete about-face!
