In Cha am, Thailand, a dog was killed after it was struck by a car and left to passed in a ditch that was filled with water.
He sobbed in agony for many days while he waited in the bushes, praying that someone would discover him. He even tried to pull himself out of the hole, but it was too painful for him to continue trying so he gave up.
Thank goodness, he was eventually located and taken into custody by security. Even though it is impossible to determine precisely how long he was submerged in the filthy, frigid water, the fact that he was now safe and would get the necessary medical attention was the thing that mattered the most.
They made a mad dash for the medical facility in order to provide him with the attention he needed for his dehydration. He had lost an extraordinary amount of weight and was so frail that he was unable to stand on his own.
X-rays found a shattered pelvis, which explained his excruciating discomfort and his incapacity to get up. A surgical procedure was performed on him in order to heal the damage to his bones, and he was also provided with analgesics and antibiotics.
He was in a lot of discomforts, therefore he really did not want to eat, so the people who rescued him had to force-feed him with a syringe. However, after 10 days, he finally started to feel hungry and started eating on his own for the first time. His injuries and wounds were also making good progress in their recovery.
