Meaty used to spend his time at a sanctuary before he gained all of that online celebrity and before he was adopted by a loving family.

Meatball and Lisa Reilly first became acquainted via the use of the internet. Meatball’s picture was shown on the website of Fresno Bully Rescue, a no-kill shelter located in California. The sudden encounter with Meaty brought up fond memories of her late dog Kitty, who had gone away a few short months ago.

After making the decision to bring him home, Lisa introduced Meatball to her other rescued dogs, and ever since then, the gentle giant has been beaming with happiness. As can be seen in the pictures, Meaty got all he could have hoped for, which is why it’s obvious that the smile that’s plastered over his face is completely genuine!
