Moose and Goose haven’t always been as close as they are now; in fact, there was a period when they weren’t always inseparable. You wouldn’t think it to look at them now, but it’s true.

In point of fact, when they first met, their relationship was frosty, to put it mildly.

The owners of the cats have just posted a great video that demonstrates how far Goose and Moose have gone since they first became acquainted with one another. In the video that has since gone viral and was uploaded to TikTok, Moose is seen meeting her brand-new kittycat brother for the very first time. Throughout the process, she seems to be rather displeased with the new addition to the family.

At one point, Moose even hisses. It wasn’t exactly a warm welcome.

However, after that, everything was different.

It’s possible that Moose and Goose’s relationship would have never developed if Moose’s parents had concluded that their cat’s first response was an indication that they had made a mistake by adopting Goose. They were smart enough to grasp the need of taking things slowly, which is in keeping with the advice given by experts on how to introduce an older cat to a new kitten.

And in the end it was all worth it.
