Cameron Diaz stopped working before she turned 50 and had her first child. Now that she had a child, the actress wanted to live as long as possible so she could be there for her child.

Cameron Diaz told InStyle magazine in April 2012 that she didn’t have any ideas about what it would be like to be a mother. She said that women were under a lot of pressure from society about how their lives should go.

The “Charlie’s Angels” star said that she had never said she didn’t want kids, but that she just didn’t have any at the time. She said that she didn’t know what would happen in her life.

So she chose to live without any plans and just see what happened. In April 2014, the star of “The Other Woman” said that she didn’t have a “fixed opinion on motherhood” before she met and fell in love with her husband.

The actress felt the need to defend herself because she was getting a lot of pressure about why she wasn’t a mother yet. Diaz said that she had never decided that being a mother wasn’t part of her plans for her life.

The star said that if she ever wanted children, she would have them. Diaz said that could happen if she got pregnant, adopted a child, or dated someone who already had a child.

“I can’t see into the future, but I do know that I don’t have no kids. There are a lot of kids in my life. If I want to, I can have a child right now.”

She also told me that a lot of her friends didn’t have kids either. Diaz said she wasn’t a spinster who didn’t want children. She knew the choices she made and why she made them, but she also liked to live in the moment.

The actress told Marie Claire in 2014 that she wasn’t looking for a husband but also wasn’t not looking. The celebrity was living her life and not thinking about what she should or shouldn’t do.

“We live in a society where everyone has kids, so they want other people to have kids too.”

Diaz said she wouldn’t have kids because that’s what people thought she should do. She thought that if it was the right time for her to have a family or children, she would do that, not what other people thought she should do.

In May 2012, when she was 39 years old, Diaz told Redbook that she thought she would be married with two kids by the time she was 21.

But because of her rising career, the “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” star had to put that dream on hold.

During the “Anna Faris Is Unqualified” podcast in September 2021, the actress talked about how she met Benji Madden, the love of her life. In 2014, her sister-in-law Nicole Richie introduced her to the Good Charlotte singer.

Richie happens to be married to Benji’s twin, Joel Madden. After she met Richie and her husband, Benji, who was in the same room, was introduced to her. She and Benji got along right away.

Before they even talked, Diaz had seen him walking toward her. She thought he was hot and wondered why she hadn’t seen him before, but she knew at that moment that he was special and the “hidden gem in my life.”

After dating for seven months, they got engaged and got married on January 5, 2015. At the actress’s home in Beverly Hills, where the wedding was held, there were about 96 famous people there.

The wedding vows of Benji and Diaz only took 15 minutes. Stefanie Cove and Yifat Oren put together the event for the “Annie” star. It was a Jewish ceremony, and a stage was set up inside the star’s home.

In 2016, the actress said that she and her husband got married in the living room and then had a party on the tennis court. In the same year, she told Andy Cohen in a romantic way that she didn’t care about anything else now that she had her husband.

In December 2019, Diaz reached a new milestone when she gave birth to their first daughter, Raddix. On January 3, 2020, the couple surprised everyone by making an announcement on Instagram. No one knew what they were expecting.

“We are so happy, grateful, and blessed to start this new decade by telling everyone about the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden.”

A source for Us Weekly said that Diaz and her husband tried for years to have a baby both naturally and by adopting. Their daughter was born through a surrogate, and someone close to them said, “Cameron thinks this baby is a real miracle.”

Even though she had doubts, the former actress said that the level she was on was her “sweet spot” and that it was the happiest time of her life.

When the star turned 40, she felt like she wasn’t managing or even touching many parts of her life, so she quit acting. This is what the actress did because she wanted to make her life easier.

Before making this change, Diaz said that she was tired of having parts of her life “handed off to other people.” She hadn’t had time to get married or have kids, but now she has time to spend with her family.

After leaving her job, Diaz felt “whole” and happy because she had Benji and their child. During a February 2021 appearance on SiriusXM’s “Quarantined with Bruce,” the star said that being a mother and a wife was the most “fulfilling” part of her life so far.

The former actress deserved all of these things because she had waited for them to happen. Diaz once told Naomi Campbell that, unlike most people, she became a mother in the second half of her life. Then she joked:

“The only pressure I have now is that I have to live to be like 107.”

Even though she had some doubts, the former actress said that the level she was on was her “sweet spot” and that it was the happiest time of her life. She also said that the moment she was living in was the most satisfying one.

“Having a family when you’re young is like doing anything when you’re young: you do it. When you are my age and decide to do it, it is a real choice. You really need to work hard for it.”

During the interview, Campbell noticed that Diaz looked happier and more beautiful now. The supermodel said the former actress was “glowing” compared to before she found the right balance in her life.
