This year during the opening day of the Royal Ascot races, Carole Middleton was seen wearing a bubblegum pink dress, the same style as her daughter Kate Middleton was photographed wearing in 2021.

The outfit in issue is the ME+EM bubblegum pink shirt dress, and it has a suggested retail price of £450. The online store is now out of the dress in stock.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore it for the first time in May of the previous year, when she was visiting Mila Sneddon, who was five years old, and her family.

Because a picture of cancer patient Mila was included in the Hold Still photography project, Kate decided to meet with Mila at Holyroodhouse, which is located in Edinburgh.

Following an earlier phone conversation with Mila, during which Kate learned that pink is Mila’s most preferred shade, Kate decided to wear the outfit.

Before the two of them ever met in person, Kate informed Mila over the phone, “I have to make sure I go and try to buy myself a pink dress.” “Mila, I hope that one day we’ll have the chance to see each other, and when we do, I’ll make sure to remember to wear my pink dress for you.”

While Carole wore a black fascinator, a black purse, and pearl drop earrings, Kate accessorized the dress with a face mask and pink shoes that matched the color of the mask.

It is not known if Carole took the dress from Kate’s closet, but the Middleton matriarch’s wedding dress was worn by Carole’s daughter-in-law Alizée Thevenet when she married James Middleton a year ago.

It was there that it became public knowledge that Pippa Middleton is carrying her third child with husband James Matthews.

Both Arthur, who is three, and Grace, who is one, already have a parent in or her other parent.
