When Queen Elizabeth and the rest of her family flew to the United Kingdom to commemorate the monarch’s Diamond Jubilee, she finally had the opportunity to meet the great-grandchild whose name was taken from the childhood nickname she was given.

Last week on Wednesday, the pair left Santa Barbara on a private plane and flew all the way to the United Kingdom, where they arrived to be met by bodyguards that had been given by the Palace.

They spent their time in the United Kingdom in Harry’s Frogmore Cottage, although they were seldom seen in public during the Jubilee celebrations. Some people are under the impression that it is because they vowed to behave themselves at the event.

The event of Trooping the Color on Thursday was the first time that they were seen in public and photographed together. They had been entertaining the young royals in the Major General’s Office where they had been.

According to an article published in US Weekly, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were able to attend the birthday festivities of the Queen with both of their children in tow.

A source close to the situation said that the Queen’s mood was improved after the encounter and that she thought young Archie and his sister were adorable. Even more, she gave them gifts in her presentation.

On Thursday afternoon at Windsor Castle, the Queen had her first meeting with Lilibet. According to Angela Levin, who is the royal biographer, they wanted to see the Queen as quickly as possible, so she agreed to meet with them on Thursday.

The couple went along with their photographer and were planning to have photographs taken to memorialize the occasion, but Queen Elizabeth requested that no images be taken at the location.

This was a private family gathering, and she worried that they might share the images with US media sources; hence, it was announced that this meeting had place.
