When a brand-new dog cuddles up with a foal that was born just an hour earlier, you know you’re seeing a very endearing scene.

Green Valley Aussies were able to catch on tape the adorable moment of Molly the dog and the newborn foal who does not even have a name yet cuddling up together.

Molly is an Australian shepherd dog, and despite the breed’s reputation for being powerful working dogs, Australian shepherds like Molly can also be quite soft and friendly.

During the time that this endearing incident was taking place, the mother of the young foal, who goes by the name “Sugar,” was standing right next to her child. It was obvious that she did not mind that her child was snuggling up with her.
