A Navy SEAL paid tribute to the friend and partner of a fellow SEAL member’s canine companion. A Facebook memorial has been created by Mike Ritland, a former member of the United States Navy SEALs, for the K9 companion of a genuine SEAL who has since passed away. After an extraordinary 15 years of honoring this Earth with his presence, Mike had to say goodbye to Carlos today, according to a statement released by Ritland. “Mike had to say goodbye to Carlos today.”

Mike and Carlos had been business partners for a significant amount of time, and upon their retirement, Mike was in a position to permanently adopt Carlos. When Carlos was working as a coach on the series, Ritland was one of the people he collaborated with. Ritland said, “He still had Afghan dust as he rubbed it all over him as he wrapped him in the flag Mike took with him every time he had surgery, and he still had Afghan dust as he wrapped him in the flag.” Before Carlos passed away, Mike fed him his favorite dish, steak, which was also the dog’s last meal in this world.
In a statement that was full of emotion, Ritland came to the conclusion that “our hearts are now considerably heavier having to say farewell to one other.” “We have the guard here, my buddy. Favorable winds and waves are following C-man,” the captain said.
