A group of scuba divers, led by Craig Capehart, were cruising down the coast of Pondoland, South Africa, looking for sardines when they came upon something that they will never forget. A gigantic humpback whale breached multiple times during the rare clear, crisp, cold winter day. They were all completely taken by surprise, and they couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the enormous animal.

However, before retreating into the depths of the water, the whale gave them one final display as a memento of his visit. It was an unforgettable experience for everyone. The whale sprang entirely out of the water in a demonstration of remarkable strength and elegance, leaving Craig and his colleagues with their mouths open in surprise.
