Stray animals are forced to fight for their lives on a daily basis. Finding adequate food for her and her youngster proved to be a life-threatening challenge for one mom dog. When she attempted to cross a busy highway, she was fatally struck by a vehicle. She died suddenly, so she did not have to suffer, but her baby was completely unaware of what was happening. He was terrified and feeling alone. He held to his mother, praying that she would awaken.

A passing motorist pulled over and yelled for help, her tears streaming down her face. She begged with them to arrive as soon as possible. When they came, they could tell that the puppy was in a state of complete and utter despair. His mother had been his whole world, and now that she had passed away, he was at a loss for what to do with himself. However, the rescuers were forced to interfere since he did not want to leave her side.

The rescuers rounded up both dogs and loaded them into their car for transport. They attempted to give the puppy some formula at first, but he was adamant about refusing to take it. He wailed and huddled in the corner of the cage as he continued to weep. Even in the face of their nice words and all of the consolation that the rescuers could summon, the puppy’s sole want was for his mother to return home.

It was agreed by the rescuers to bury the mom dog in a dignified manner and offer some good words. In her honor, they made a promise to look after her child. The puppy was taken to the veterinarian’s office. He was feeble as a result of dehydration and insufficient food intake. The veterinarian and his crew did everything they could think of, but he still refused to eat.

This was something the veterinarian and his team had seen before. When a puppy is in this state, there is nothing more for it to do except to provide him with the nutrients and water he needs. He won’t make it if they keep waiting. They placed an IV in the puppy and allowed him to rest as comfortably as possible.

He is making steady but sluggish improvement, thanks to the efforts of the rescue organization and medical professionals, who are working around the clock to care for the puppy. He’s still apprehensive, and he longs for his mother. It may take some time for him to regain his sense of security, but no one is giving up hope on his rehabilitation.
